Title: Nicely organized, Detailed, not overwhelming.
Review: I’ve been taking my time reading this book, its very detailed while not being so overwhelming. I’m sort of new to the cloud services, so I needed to know the fundamentals first before the services. I have full intention of taking the exam, and I wouldn’t have felt so confident without this book, even though I’ve used videos and even direct resources from Microsoft, its always good to have a book, and I recommend this one.

Title: Dense overview of technologies
Review: This is a great general introduction to the breadth of Azure for those looking to understand the breadth of offerings available. It also, of course, is valuable for studying for the AZ-900 exam and the Azure Fundamentals certification. The book is fairly tight and moves from topic to topic with some helpful screenshots at times.I could have done with a bit more information on the structure and format of the exam, as well as shorter chapters. One of the chapters is actually around a hundred pages long. That said, the thought experiments at the end of each chapter were fantastic resources for understanding the context of the technologies and applying them in more realistic scenarios.Definitely recommend for anyone studying for AZ-900 or wanting an overview of what Azure can do.

Title: Very good and in need of an update
Review: I bought the 2nd Edition (Published Aug 2020).The content is well organized and well written. The examples and thought experiments are clear, concise, and real-world based. The chapter summary bullet lists were very helpful as a quick review/reminder tool.My only real complaint is the book is in need of an update. Every year, Microsoft changes the content covered in the AZ-900 exam. I took the exam in July of 2022. At that time, neither the syllabus nor the exam mentioned anything about the Internet of Things (IoT).My suggestion is to check the latest exam syllabus provided by Microsoft and then use this book as only one of many sources of information.

Title: Like the paperback, fits my learning style
Review: I used this to study for Microsoft certification. It’s similar to the (virtual) class with an eBook from Microsoft on the same subject, same exam.I prefer to work with paper copy than just electronic delivery. I like paper, highlighters and marking up pages I’ll use as reference and learning tools. I’m using multiple formats to learn — class lecture and videos, eBook from class from Microsoft, and this book from Microsoft Press.

Title: Great book to pass AZ-900
Review: Comprehensive book, covers all the topics in the exam. I just took the exam today and passed, and this book helped me over the hump. Highly recommended for the exam.

Title: Useful for people working in Azure
Review: There are so many functionalities in Azure but the technical documents page from MS is just too confusing sometimes. This makes it more easy to digest and allows me to grasp concepts, then further research outside of the book for full details. Good book for anyone starting/working in Azure.

Title: Could use better font formatting – basic introduction
Review: Sections run together – chapter, sections aren’t delineated well – needs bold and underline, and even bullets. Exam Tips are helpful.Information is an introduction not inclusive – I found Microsoft learning online presented a more complete outline and explanation of domains.Edition quickly outdated but good for notes and exam tips – useful as phase 1 learning to accompany online resources
