Quick solution to get up & out of the way
Bought this for my echo dot with the clock. It’s a Great way to get this up & out of the way. Because of the dot design, it was always getting knocked over. I have also discovered that because it’s up, I seem to get better response from it, by having the speakers clear from any obstructions. I’m not sure I would place this on sheet rock however, as the clue is really strong & it’s not easily removed. For me, I placed it on the side of my headboard that’s made of wood. If it messes that up, I can strip it & redo it. I would probably just use flat screws to hang with. It does fit my echo really well & is see-through, so clock is easily visible. I hung it to the side of my headboard, because I am a light sensitive sleeper.

Echo Dot 5th Gen does not fit
It would be a nice product, except it’s design does not allow the echo dot 5th generation to fit. The device does not fit in the stand when it is plugged in. The slot for the cable in the back of the stand does not go high enough to plug the dot in.
