Continues to be an aggressively smart pastiche
The story keeps being a very well written post-apocalyptic power armor litRPG riff on the poem Erec and Enide by Chrétien de Troyes. It is also an incredibly well-done berserker story, where a protagonist viscerally losing control over themselves feels narratively satisfying.10/10, can’t wait for book 3.
