Emma is back!

The core has been transferred to an airship crashed deep on the Rim. There, Emma and Anna will encounter feuding factions, terrifying monstrosities, and new powered foes in need of becoming research experiments. With a badly damaged vessel, they must steal, scavenge, and fight for what they need to upgrade to survive.

More upgrades, more insults, more science.

Customers say

Customers find the book fun, amazing, and one of the best Dungeon Core novels. They appreciate the great characterization and dramatic punch. Readers also mention there’s a good bit of action.

    Professional Editor Needed!
Fun book, fun romp. The upgrade system is pretty fast and loose, and the characters don’t really do any developing past their abilities or fights, but honestly they don`t need to. We did not come to see Hot Stuff wrestle with her philosophical demons, we came to see her burn a bunch of stuff while being nude and snarky. The book is all about the action and the fun to be had within those scenes and the longer concepts the author is working on for the story. That said, this one felt pretty incomplete, and ends on a wee bit of a cliffhanger. I personally hate cliffhangers and think they are the tool of a weak storyteller. You can tell a grander tale without resorting to the cheap low blow tactic of “TUNE IN NEXT WEEK FOR THE EXCITING CONCLUSION!” That said, I really didn’t see a way around the ending, so I didn’t remove a star for it.My other complaint is the same as it was for the last book. Editing. This book is FULL of silly little errors. Misspellings and obvious slips of the authors hand. As understandable as these errors are, this is a published book. Your book is not complete if it is not edited, and should never be published in the state it is. I would think it would be humiliating for an author to have their finished work put to the public in this frankly sloppy condition, and thus: one star removed for terrible editing.

    Fantastic
Dungeon core meets superpowered airship chic with over the top cinematic battles and enough plot twists and turns for a roller coaster ride. For sky high drama and explosive punch this is right up there with Correia’s Grimnoir finale and Butcher’s Aeronaught’s Windlass.

The serious only gets better after this
This series starts better and gets better this is just a slow part in the series in my opinion

    A good bit of action
A good bit of action, but not enough science. The great thing about the first book was the dungeon building bits, but that gets generally thrown out the window in this one, and possibly in the next. That said it is still a fun book.

one of the top 3 dungeon books
GLaDOS in Fallout (post apocalypse) with magic…..By far, one of the best Dungeon Core novels and it somehow seems dramatic, serious, and funny all at once.

    Science like the Joker makes.
Science! Science and taking your enemy apart? Yes. Mad and funny? Yes. Imagine being able to set things on fire and earn credits for it.
