I ordered these on 4/17/24 and have waited until now (6/5/24) to write a review. I wanted to give an honest review, so I waited until the bag was full. I have two GSD/Husky mix adult dogs which means a lot of hair & tracked in dirt!! Since installing my Roomba j5 in January, I have gone through 3 bags- two of which came with the Roomba & one from this order from Amazon. Iâve noticed no difference from the original bags and these new ones. Iâm very pleased with this alternative to the manufacturers bags priced at 3 for $20. Way too expensive!! These have worked just fine, fit perfectly & have no problems emptying. The seal must work fine because Iâve never had a problem with the emptying. However, now that the bag is full, Iâm getting error messages like âCannot empty binâ & âDebris base is cloggedâ. This triggered me to check the bag, which was full, and replace it. So maybe thatâs the only issue- the sensor on how full the bag is doesnât properly register, so you have to check it and change it once youâre noticing emptying problems. The sensor registers that thereâs life left, but the bag is clearly full & will not suck any more debris from the Roomba bin. Not a big deal! Definitely worth saving the money and buying this products instead of the original manufacturer parts. I will be purchasing again!

Additional step to use with i7+
I was excited to get these filters because they seemed to be a good deal. I installed a new filter in the base unit of my i7+. It didn’t work. I did some review online and poked around in the base unit where the filter bag gets inserted. I found that taping a ~1inch section of a half of a bamboo skewer worked to press the bag sensor and allow these bags to work. When I install a new bag I just move the tape and bamboo skewer section to the new bag. See photo for details of location. Now that I know the solution these bags are a great value. I do note that what was sent is different from the product photo. The opening and sliding door on the opening are made out of cardbord.
