I diligently searched for the best choice.The quality of the cardiod mic has delivered on performance. Maybe 1 pick-up error/page with Dragon Legal 15. Control lead fits comfortably at lap.Cost effective solution. Maybe someday I’ll spring for the $300 units, however, this unit delivers the results I need at my level of Dragon dictation fidelity and skill.update 1/12/18: This mic and I are in sync heaven with Dragon 15. I dictated a technical 3 pager. This mic performed perfectly. It’s a minimum priced and completely adequate solution to cardiod voice recognition.

Great headset
My ONLY complaint is the placement of the mute button. I am constantly hitting it on my desk mid conversation and muting myself. I resorted to removing a screw cap from my desk chair and taping it over the mute button.Otherwise it has great sound, clarity and functionality. I am very pleased with it.

Didn’t last very long
I purchased March 17, 2019. Now in August 2020, they no longer work. They are making my job impossible. I’ve gone through 2 of the Nuance basic USB headsets (didn’t last a month) and this pair in less than 2 years. Afraid to spend more money on the bluetooth headset, but it looks like my only 1-earphone option.

This headset works great. I have used it for the last two months and it has been a lifesaver. I am not the best at typing but with this natural speaking headset and being able to control the on and off button from a little switch it works better than my other two headsets. I would recommend this highly with the Dragon NaturallySpeaking system.

Product is reasonably priced, comfortable, and easy to maneuver microphone part of headset. Cord is a little to long. Since it’s connected to computer the extra yardage doesn’t seem necessary.

This thing works just fine for what I wanted (use with Dragon Naturally Speaking software to draft documents, and listen to music/videos while otherwise working, while still leaving an ear free). Volume is fine, comfortable, all of that.
