HATE IT
I don’t know if it is any good at protecting my computer or not but in other ways, it STINKS. It slowed my computer down so bad that I can’t use the VPN and anti-track parts of it but even with those disabled, it still makes my computer real, real slow at loading. I wanted to turn it off in the startup apps but it won’t let me. And worst of all, it has fouled up my Big Fish games that I can’t play some of them. I uninstalled one of them, my favorite, but it won’t let me reinstall it. It just keeps saying it’s activating. I stopped AVG and tried to install the game again but I STILL couldn’t get the game to reinstall and I couldn’t get another one to install that I was thinking about buying. I would not recommend AVG Internet Security to anyone under any circumstances. I wish I hadn’t wasted my money on it.

Sale Price is Good for Two Years of Full AVG Antivirus
I paid a very low price when this was on sale to upgrade my free version of AVG to the full version. I did discover that the VPN seemed to slow my browsing and may have interfered with some auto-logins to websites I use frequently, and there were other issues regarding my stored passwords and auto-logins to web sites that I had to sort out. Eventually I uninstalled the Secure VPN and AntiTrack components because of this, and made some other adjustments. There may be other methods of solving the auto-login problems I encountered. I did not try to contact tech support for help. I’m still satisfied since the price was so low, and I can reinstall the Secure VPN and AntiTrack again if I want.

Good Protection
AVG has a lot of features. Easy to install and a user-friendly interface. I also like the fact that it comes with a VPN. A VPN is a necessity these days for searching the net which makes it safer to keep your information more secure and makes banking safer also.
