Great for tattooing — beware the plastic clip.
There’s a lot to love about this client table as a tattoo artist.The bed portion is nearly identical to all of the classic InkBed tables, nice, cushioned, three-sections. You should know the drill. I’ve heard from several artists that the InkBeds with seperated leg sections have too many points of failure and can sometimes cut clients, so I went for the simple three-section one here.The locking mechanism for section height adjustments is a double tension-bar system instead of the spring-loaded bar with different “slots.” If you’ve ever used the spring-loaded ones, you know that the spring eventually wears out, they’re loud, and sometimes the spring will come loose and fly across your studio. Not a fun experience. The double tension-bar system lets you adjust the foot and head section as you please.The base is a heavy-duty square steel tube frame. It’s sturdy, but not TOO heavy. The electric lift is nice, quiet, and smooth (but a little slow for my taste).The only con I’ve found is the clip for the remote. It’s made of plastic and has a small screw holding it in place. That small screw is barely larger than the hole in the clip, so after about a week it worked its way through and the remote fell to the floor — hard. My client tapped a new hole for the clip and got a slightly larger screw with a washer to hold it in place. No problems out of it since then.All-in-all, this is a GREAT table if you want to save your spine from turning into a pretzel from tattooing. Much better than the vintage dental chair I’d been using for the five years prior. ð

Back support rods
Assembly was very straightforward with basic hand tools. The product was shipped quickly and packaged very well. Seems quite sturdy and made with quality materials, my only complaint is that the two rods that support the back rest are quite short and don’t allow the back to sit up all the way. My only complaint is that the tension rods do slowly slip. Itâs very slow but itâs enough to notice. Aside from that, itâs perfect. Plus these guys have immaculate customer service as fedex lost part of the package and within less than 24hours the seller responded and made sure to get things sorted out and the missing piece sent over. No fault of the seller on the missing package, that was fully on fedex.

Wasnât sure about ordering this but glad I did. We put it together in about 2 hours. Motor works great. I can finally get my clients up to the right height now.

This chair is obviously not new. This can be seen from the packaging. The crumpled metalic details of the bed. And there is also not enough in the kit. I ordered this a month ago, we moved in and started assembling. I don’t have time to take it apart and send it back. It’s disorienting.

Looks as described. Mechanical works just fine. A little challenging to put together but nothing hubby canât fix. Havenât gotten a chance to use it much as I would like. Will keep everyone updated as I continue to use it.

It cost $290 to return & the 70° Angle in product photo isn’t right
The 70° Angle in the product photo shows that it sits up a bit more than it does. It’d a nice chair and would be more comfortable if it was a bit more upright. The arms do come out to allow people to get in and out; however, they are hard to take out and put back in. I bought this to do pedicures (not tatoos) so I needed a more seemless arm rest movement. The hydronic lift is very nice and quiet. I returned it because of the back angle. There were no defects or issues with it. I will say to do your research before ordering. I had to pay to return it (and receive it $50) and it cost me $290 to do so. I’m not happy about that part at all. That’s why it’s a 4 star review. I think it should be $50 to return as well.
