Solid book for bigquery beginner
This book does not dive deep into Bigquery technology, rather the author explains how to architect and build datawarehouse using Bigquery as a medium. As you build your warehouse you get to explore many features of Bigquery and how to use it.

I found this book to be an excellent introduction to Google BigQuery. It is well-written, clear and concise and contains not only a thorough high-level introduction to the subject but a wealth of more detailed information as well. The chapters on the BigQuery flavour of SQL were particularly helpful, as were the plethora of optimisation tips.Reading this book got me up and running – and delivering analytics – in a record time.
