Itâs not an Apple Watch!
Itâs not an Apple Watch! And itâs not claiming to be an Apple Watch! This is a fitness tracker, watch for people that hate smart watches. Iâve had 2 Apple watches 2 different fitbits, and I own several analog brand-name watches (seiko, citizen, tag).I wanted to watch that would track my basic fitness stuff ( fitness, notifications, time, ) but not look terrible like pretty much all smart watches do. also I wanted a watch that I did not have to think about too much or bother charging every day like a smart watch. The citizens CZ , was pretty much exactly what I was looking for.A watch I could wear every day.A watch that tracks my Fitness stuffA watch I did not have to charge every dayPros:First. the watch looks great. I get people asking what kind of watches all the time.Second. It does a good job of keeping track of my steps, heart rate, 02, all the normal stuff that a fitness watch should do.Third. The battery has an insanely long life.(legitimately, I waited to write this review until I went through almost a full battery life cycle. It has been roughly 2 weeks and Iâm still at 14% battery life.!!!!)Fourth. I love the fact that you can change the watch face at Will or even add your own pictures or designs to make it 100% custom if you should wish.Cons.First. The YouQ app ð¤¦ââï¸ I would love to say whether it is bad or good, but I have yet to be able to get it to actually connect to the watch.(I donât think that is the watches fault as much as the apps fault. The app simply cannot find the watch over Bluetooth.) hopefully they will fix that some day. But⦠the Citizen Connected app does keep track of all of my fitness stats so Iâm not super concerned with theYouQ app ⦠right now.Second. The one thing I have noticed with the watch is that it doesnât necessarily update your fitness scores on the watch face in real time..ie. heart rate, there seems to be a slight lag, of a couple of minutes. (hopefully that will be fixed with an update.)All in all, I like the watch. And will continue to wear it on a daily basis as my âdaily beater watchâ.If youâre looking for a smart watch that is âlike an Apple Watchâ then just go buy an Apple Watch. If youâre looking for a smart watch that looks good ,does all the basic things you need and has a great battery life then this might be the ones youâre looking for. IMO

These work well
Hybrid watch is all I want for day to day. This watch works and looks good. All functions, I use daily have been bug free and a nice experience, after setup. CZ smart and sports require separate install and setup. Downside is no light time adjustment and slow button response on dial screen due to Paperwhite, I got use to but wish was faster.

Citizen should not have released this watch.
DO NOT BUY THIS WATCH. I did as 50% of reviews were positive. There’s a reason that 23% of the reviewers on Amazon are giving this watch 2 stars or less. As Citizen’s entry into the Hybrid Market, this watch should not have been released. There are extensive problems with the software and firmware and this watch cannot be repaired by your local Citizen repair facility. The return policy is only 30 days and these watches are working for 45 – 60 days before failing to connect to the app on your cell phone. Once this happens, you will never be able to connect the watch to a cell phone regardless of the number of times you have loaded the app or created new accounts with Citizen. The watch itself still functions, but any plans you may have to review health history are gone as are all of the NASA features, etc. You can continue to see the time and do real-time health checks, but any history that would have been kept on the phone app is no longer available. I’ve spoken to Citizen and they have no solution to this problem. Also, their website to reset your password is listed as “Dangerous Web Page” by Norton security. That should be a huge wakeup call as to the credibility of this watch. Citizen has completely failed their customer base by releasing a dysfunctional watch before it was ready for distribution. Wait a couple of years for Citizen to correct the fatal mistakes on this watch before buying.

Durability and quality issue
I bought this watch sometime mid May and was very happy with the features and long battery life between charges. After just one and a half months. The oxygen sensor stopped working although the heart rate monitor and other features remained functional. Now I need to seek warranty service and or or replacement.

Do not let it die completely
I absolutely love this watch. It is great for work. Looks great and feels good on your wrist. The charge on the Battery Is surprisingly long lasting, it takes many weeks. Unfortunately, I let it completely drain and now it will not charge. iâve purchased many chargers, thinking it was the charger but it will not charge.

Excellent hybrid watch
We were looking for a hybrid smartwatch, for which meticulously researched comparables from Garmin, Pininfarina, even Tissot T-Touch Smart. For those of us who want a classic watch with smart features, you canât get anything better!Very well made and designed. Doesnât have that âbulky peace of garden hoseâ look and feel of other feature-packed watches.Battery life is amazing, been wearing it for more than two weeks and still have 22%! Doesnât have a solar charging but Iâm fine with it.CZ app is nothing special but does everything you need, includes all major fitness support features, tracks heartbeats and everything. One downside as compared with twice as pricy Garmins is that it doesnât have a GPS, which is not an issue for me, since I always carry my phone with me. Also, the glass is mineral but looks like itâs not sapphire crystal.Price is also great for this piece. It doesnât have cheap look at all, in fact, could have been sold at a higher price!
