Self-cleaning charging station used with i3
I have a standard i3 Roomba that made me clean the trash bin. Having two long hair cats, I had to clean it almost daily. I decided to get this caSino187 automatic dirt removal and charging stations as an accessory for my i3. Other than the cleaning station, you must purchase a different collection bin. The caSino187 disposal system removes dirt from the bottom of the bin. Hence there must be a port for it gain access to the dirt and cat hair stored in the bin. Once the new bin and the new caSino187 was received, I put them to use immediately. My i3 was already out cleaning. I paused the i3 and swapped the bins out. I then allowed it to go about its cleaning. I removed the old charging station and put the caSino187 in its place, right out of the shipping box. After the i3 finished it cleaning job, I watched as it went back to the charging station. It pulled onto the caSino187 and a second later the vacuum motor ramped up. Both my cats had to find out what the new sound was. Once they saw it was a part of the familiar i3 they then went back to their napsIt worked right out of the box. All I had to do was plug in the caSino187 and it was ready to accept the dirt collected and stored in the new bin. Great Product.

works great, but changing bags often is expensive
I deal with dog hair from 2 little Chihuahuas. This makes my roomba far more independent. But to keep up with the dog hair, the bag needs to be changed about every 4 days. That can get a little expensive. I’ve tried cleaning out a bag and reusing, but it’s difficult to get everything out of it. Overall it was a great purchase.

Just didnât work for me.
Item said new in box came in refurbished box, would not sync with my roomba. Seller tells me you donât have to sync bin with roomba. Not first rodeo but why else would the troubleshooting guide ask you to reset and hold buttons. Maybe to sync. At the moment this is my review til I see full refund. Thatâs another issue there is a restocking fee and other fees if you send back.

Great accessory for my Roomba
we purchased the correct bin for this a few days before ordering this base.It did give me issues until i realized the green port on the dust bin was pushed in, in a corner. (I did that accidentally)I kept getting messages about the base being clogged when nothing was put into it.When I straightened out the green tab and let it sit flysh, everything worked like a charm!The suction on it is fantastic and it completely emptied the dust bin.I couldnât be more pleased.

Base only good for charging.
The base we received will only charge our i7. We reset and rebooted over and over. It would never self empty. With the space we have and 3 dogs, I have zero time to chase this vacuum all over to empty the bin. Going to order a new set up vs trying replacements at this point.
