The entire best-selling Dungeon World series is now together in one volume!

This Dungeon World Series Box Set includes:

Dungeon World, Books 1-5
Bonus short story

In a world five times larger than Earth, dungeons and their Dungeon Cores have become the top of the food chain.

Millions of dungeons inhabit the planet, utilizing the Human people as a source of much-needed Mana to facilitate their own growth; in turn, the humans delve into the dungeons to acquire their own power in the form of Essence, which allows them to develop and enhance themselves in a multitude of different ways. It is a symbiotic relationship that has lasted thousands of years and has brought about a measure of peace.

Far in the northern wilds where no Humans (and therefore – no dungeons) regularly frequent, a young man is left alone when his parents are suddenly murdered. Now, without friends, family, supplies, or even much knowledge of the wider world, Fredwynklemossering embarks on a journey to discover who – or what – killed his parents. Along the way, however, he learns more than he bargained for, including his seemingly impossible status as a Dungeon Core/Human hybrid. With that knowledge comes a shift in his objective; revenge against those who wronged him turns out to pale in comparison to the dangers the Humans will face in the future.

Will Fred be able to successfully straddle the line between the Human and Dungeon Core worlds? Unfortunately, he’ll have to, or else the entire Dungeon World may be doomed….

Contains 564,000 words, LitRPG/GameLit elements such as statistics and leveling, as well as dungeon construction and defense. No harems and no profanity.

    Very refreshing
I read a lot of sci-fi and fantasy books. This story has a unique story line that I truly enjoyed.

    A nice change of pace
I really like the system and dungeon master genre of stories, it reminds me of playing DnD with friends in yesteryears from my youth, but find the overlap with haremlit and slice of life tiresome, not that I am opposed to spicy scenes but it all seems to blur together eventually. JB does an excellent job showing growth from weak to strong, complex social interaction, combat, without a parade of cat girls, many tailed fox girls and the like, who’s personality is largely body parts and an inexhaustible sex drive, to say nothing of the watching paint dry pace of slice of life stories. Dungeon World does an excellent job building a world where technology matches the setting, and the various factions goals make sense, and the story moves forward. The language is suitable for all ages, and typos were light.

    enjoyable series
I’d heard a bit about some of the books in the series but it took me a while to decide to pick them up. Happily I ended up with the complete set! This 5 book series does a nice job of world building from a dungeon core’s first foray into the world to a satisfying wrap up and the next generation beginning their exploits.Along the way there’s a load of world building, and intricate magic system, and lots of character development. I’d didn’t end up where I thought it would, which was a nice thing as it meant it wasn’t predictable. I enjoyed the buildup through the novels and the final revealing points. The world has a distinct flavor and it’s one I may have to do a reread of to catch all that I may have missed the first time around.

    Dungeon World
A neat idea, having world building as one of my favorite past times, I love learning about people’s ideas of fantasy. This work had great concepts and really cool images. Mile thick Diamond Walls and Indestructible Mana constructs. I will definitely enjoy using these ideas to influence my pastimes.

    Cozy read
I really enjoyed my stay in Dungeon World. Fred is a fun character, and it was lovely watching him learn and grow. His motivations make sense and he’s a great person/core who worries about if he’s doing the right thing but proves he’ll do anything to protect those he cares about.I found the series both comfortable and containing enough unexpected moments to stay entertained.

A decent read, but needs some polish.
I’ve been binging LitRPG books for the last few months and finally came to Dungeon Cores. This series is, I think, the seminal work in that genre. I liked the story. It was well paced, most of the time; and, came to a satisfying conclusion.I might have given it five stars except for the obvious need for an editor. There are several instances of odd, convoluted, meandering sentence structures and odd word choices. The grammar is inconsistent as well. It became more pronounced toward the end.Even with all that, though, it was an engaging and entertaining read.

    Print is very small
Excellent books but the type size is much smaller than standard. Recommend buying the individual books over this all in one.

I can’t express how thrilled I am with the Dungeon World Series Complete Box Set! This collection of Books 1 through 5 is nothing short of a masterpiece for any fantasy enthusiast. From the moment I cracked open the first book, I was transported into a rich and immersive world filled with unforgettable characters, epic quests, and mind-bending magic. The storytelling is nothing short of extraordinary. The author’s ability to weave intricate plotlines, develop complex characters, and describe vivid landscapes is simply awe-inspiring.The box set itself is a thing of beauty. Sturdy and well-crafted, it’s a testament to the quality of the content inside. Each book in this set is a treasure trove of adventure, and having them all in one place is a dream come true for any fan.Whether you’re new to the Dungeon World series or a long-time follower, this complete box set is a must-have addition to your collection. It’s not just a set of books; it’s a portal to a world of magic, mystery, and endless excitement. I can’t recommend it enough! This is a single book not a box set of 5.The font is so small I can not read it even with my reading glasses without an extra magnifying glass. Can’t return for refund as return post would cost almost as much as I paid this is getting far too common with amazon purchases low quality and poor descriptions in listings

Ok….I started reading Brooks dungeon series with the Dungeon Fairy box set, from there it just evolved into getting all the other sets in the universe… I won’t lie, some are better than others, but they are all enjoyable in one way or another. But about this one….. I found it interesting and engaging, it sort of would have like it to have more personality development on the shards, but I was still enjoyable.

Thoroughly enjoyable but physically difficult to read. Oversized book with comically small font made it difficult to hold comfortably without having to squint at the text. That aside I absolutely recommend it to fans of the dungeon core genre. Maybe try the kindle version instead though.
