What Should Have Come With My Charcoal Echo Dot
I don’t know why Amazon packages a white charger with their Echo Dots instead of one in a color that matches the device color. Is it really that much more expensive to manufacture a black charger to include with the charcoal colored Dot for some aesthetic uniformity? I received a $15 discount when I purchased my 5th gen Echo Dot ($5 trade-in for old Dot and 20% discount on new Dot) that all went to buy this charger so I could get rid of the annoying white cable, but totally worth it. This charger costs a few dollars more than most of the ones here at Amazon, but it is ETL listed where they are not, so also worth it. It is more compact and looks nicer than the charger that came with my Dot and it fits and functions perfectly. I really don’t understand the move to white chargers, cables, and power strips. I want these things to disappear into the background, not stand out on center stage.

We recently remodeled our kitchen, and with dark tile we had to do dark outlets. Our echo originally came with a white cord and it looked silly against the black. So I was looking around for one that would match and this looks so much better!! So happy with it. And it looks sleek, not chunky like other options did.
