Great sound!
The sound and bass this produces is SO much better than the older tall Pringle can style Amazon Echos. Originally I wasnât a fan of the sphere shape but itâs growing on me. Definitely plan on slowly replacing our older Echos with these newer ones. As far as the smart lightbulb. Used it for our porch light so I can choose different colors and set it up within the Alexa software to turn on at dusk and off at dawn and so far itâs worked great.

Compared to my Original Echo from many moons ago………..
Compared to my Original Echo from many moons ago it has not really progressed. The audio quality is slightly better than the OG. Glad that it has a headphone jack. When playing music low it still suffers from to much increase/decrease with each of the lower volume settings. Volume 2 is too loud and volume 1 is so much quieter. No happy medium for listening to music in bed. The shape is really weird. Hard to just sit somewhere. I guess it sells a lot of wall mounts at $28 a pop.

Consistent Connection issues
When I pair it and connect it to my wifi. It plays maybe 3.5 hrs and automatically unpaired and disconnect itself which causes me to start from step 1. I’ve done this several times and it became overwhelming so its sitting inside my storage closet.

I bought this as an update to my old echo dot. I was hoping it would be more reactive, provide better sound quality, and all but it’s not… theres no difference between this and the echo dot except this takes up more space lol

Sounds a bit better than echo dot 5 but its mic isnt as good as the mis in dot 5. Maybe because echo dot 5 has 3 mics. Sometimes you need to repet a wake up name a 3 times or shout it loud.
