Easy to install
The hardest part of installing switches is determining the wiring. Not this one.The device worked perfectly, and the connectors are what I am happiest about. It comes with what is needed. This type of connector is easier, secure and fits most sizes of wire. The switch is also pre-wired with the correct colors. No guessing.. I recommend this switch for any novice.

Make sure 2.4 and 5ghz are on separate SSID’s
I am on a mesh network which combined the 2.4 and 5ghz bandwidths. Even though the app was allowing me to connect the phone to the 2.4ghz, the phone was connected to both. You have to use your router login and separate the two bands and have them come up as 2 different internet connections. Once I did this (after much headache) the devices worked perfect. I also swapped the included connectors for the wagu style ones. They work much better.

The only product I found that would reliably work my outdoor pool light with Alexa
I bought this because I wanted to see if I could control my new pool light using my Amazon Alexa. I had recently changed out my light to a 12â Pool Baron nicheless LED pool light, so I needed something that would switch both the hot as well as the neutral lines at the same time. More importantly, I needed something that would be powerful enough to be able to pick up my wifi while being installed in a metal circuit breaker box located outside of my home.I chose the eMylo because they use the Tuya WiFi module, which is supposed to be the best as far as strength. The breaker box is outside, is 100% metal (with a 2nd metal cover that covers it), and is about 40-50â from my WiFi router. I had tried others but they could not pick up the WiFi once the breaker box cover was closed â the eMylo was the only one that worked!I changed out the regular on/off power switch to a DPDT on/off/on switch so I could turn the light on manually if needed, but thanks to this switch I am able to use the Alexa with the Smart life app. Sweet! I had also had some concerns early on and eMylo was very good in helping me out. Five stars!

I should have thought this through…
Installed two of these on my shop lights today. I thought it would be nice to be able to turn them on and off remotely and they worked well that regard. Until I turned off the lights of the wall switch. When I came back for lunch I hit the switch â no lights. Worse the modules failed to reconnect to the wifi. So I had to get a flash light, climb up on a later, remove the light covers and manually turn the lights on. Ugh.What if the wifi service goes out? Am I going to have to do this EVERYTIME the modules fail to come back online? Would have been nice if they defaulted to the “on” postion when power is cut on and off. Just saying.Anyway, sometime to keep in mind if you are thinking of installing these.

It seems all kinks worked out
Device is bigger than anticipated but it worked for my installation. Set up was very straight forward. They must have worked out the kinks. I also manage to connect to google home very easily. I installed bunch of Lutron Cassetteâs home before this device, I would have probably consider more of these which are cheaper than casettaâs

ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!!!!! DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP!!!
I spent $100 today having these installed. They paired fine, but the second we tried using them, they couldnât ahandle the load of 3 small light bulbs in a ceiling fan. (The fan was not turned on) The only thing that was being powered, was 3 49 watt bulbs in the fan.We thought maybe the first one was just defective, so he installed the other one, and it did the exact same thing!When we tried turning them on, the lights came on for a split second, then shut off.If I could give it zero stars I wouldDo not buy these!!! They absolute grand do not do what they claim they will do!!

Works Great and Easy to Install!
Ordered these remote switches to control my Backyard Pool Lamps with Alexa. Easy to install, detected my wifi, and works perfectly with my Alexa. I use the smart life app for all my other switches, plugs, garage opener, lamps, fans, so this went pretty smooth. The switch is about 85 feet away from my wifi extender in a sealed plastic junction box ( 8″x 6″ x 3″) and detected quickly. I would not recommend using the connectors that come with it, they just slip out and won’t hold (dangerous). I used the more reliable standard twist wire connectors. I’m going to install one for the pool light.
