The smart speaker I needed
The item I received is a genuine Google Nest Mini. It is, however, in a box that has everything written in Japanese. When you turn on the product, the voice speaks in Japanese. However, once I got it connected to the Google Home app, the language automatically changed to English. The sound of the speaker is good for a small speaker. The microphones are excellent and can pick up my voice even when I am 6 to 8 feet away. I am happy with my purchase!

We love our Google mini! It just plugs into the wall, set up through the app and itâs ready to go! The pink is very cute for my daughterâs room. We use it all the time to ask questions, set timers, play music, set reminders, and find out the weather for the day when picking out our outfits! Itâs very convenient!

Works well, like my other nest minis. But it’s Japanese?
It works fine just like the rest of the nest minis I own. I was surprised when it started talking to me in Japanese however. I live in California in the US. It’s a little strange because you can’t understand the directions it gives. Once it is programmed it starts speaking in English.

I previously had a different mount that involved having to replace the outlet cover. Was such a pain to deal with that when I recently sold my house, I left it, and my Google Home Mini, behind. So happy to find this new holder … so easy, great quality, looks nice.

Bought this thinking it would be an easy set up and use like all the other home minis I have. The whole thing is in Japanese and I have to make extra steps to make it work. Plus the charger does not work!
