    Best I’ve tried!
Don’t write reviews often, but Sifely deserves some love. The product is simple to install and simple to use, the app is solid and it works brilliantly. The remote unlock is a savior. Can’t say enough good things and it’s Incresibly reasonably priced. I’ve installed 4 of these for various projects and no issues. Great for airbnb and making love simpler all around.

Best Smart Lock Ever – Sun will not kill battery
I love this lock. It works great – has lots of features other smart locks don’t have. It has a digital keypad and you can set it up with a code, fingerprint or card access. All work great. It also has an app so you can set it up thru the app – which is super user friendly. You can even lock and unlock the door with the app – but to use that feature more than 10 feet away I think you need to buy the gateway – for about $40. . You can set up a large number of different users and with the app you can identify them by name etc. . You can set up temporary codes – like for a repairman to access your house. I love the passage mode which lets you leave it unlocked as long as you want – this is great when have workers going in and out all day during remodeling and the like. Most smart locks let you set a delay of 2-5 minutes before it locks but don’t have this passage mode feature. Customer service is great on replying and helping.I Also love the integrated handle – some digital locks have a separate handle and they may not install right with your existing holes – so you end up with open holes exposed or having to get a new door – so be careful with that. This one for right in my existing holes and allowed me to put a separate deadbolt on top.I can’t say enough about how great this lock is. And the price is excellent. Try and buy a lock like this at Home Depot and it will cost you $300.Warning – Digital Locks and the Sun: I had bought another lock when the buttons.on my old digital lock kept getting stuck but that new lock had a problem in that batteries died in 2or 3 days. Bought it again thinking it was a lemon but the replacement had the same problem. Finally figured out it was the 2 hours of morning sun hitting my East facing door that was causing the problem. This lock does not have that problem. It’s been working great now for 2 weeks.

Effortless Security: Sifely Digital Electronic Lock Review

I appreciate that I don’t need remote access; for my needs, the straightforward functionality is perfect. It feels secure and reliable, giving me peace of mind throughout my home.Overall, if you’re looking for an efficient, easy-to-install electronic lock without the frills of remote access, the Sifely Digital Electronic Lock is an excellent option. Highly recommend!

Good looking lock, works quite well, touch screen not very responsive
Bought this lock awhile ago and just got to installing it this weekend. Install took a little over an hour and a half. The instructions for the install are pretty decent and if you have installed a normal lock before, its the same process.Once i got the lock installed it software setup time. Again, the instructions arent too bad and were easy enough for me to follow. The lock needs 4 AA batteries for power and as this is new, im not able to state approx how long i expect them to last. Per Sifely there is a battery back option, which I assume means attaching a portable USB power adaptor to it and letting it sit there. But should batteries fail you have keys. You download the software to your phone, then connect to it via bluetooth and then setup a keycode. Now you have full access to the lock to add any additional pins, fingerprints etc. This lock has multiple methods of locking/unlocking. There is also a setting to have the lock auto lock itself after a set time frame which is adjustable. You can also setup a schedule for when you want it to auto lock itself.Fingerprint – was quite easy to do, same as adding a fingerprint to unlock your phone. You can add multiple fingerprints to it for all family members etc. Tested and worked.Physical key. You pop off a magnetic cover insert key and unlock. The keys arent your normal style key and are rather long and when added to your keychain they are like mini weapons. Tested and worked.Phone App – You can use your phone to lock/unlock as long as you are within Bluetooth Range. (More on that later)Pin Codes – You can assign PIN codes for each family member, a guest (if someone is house/pet sitting) and remove those codes. You can set permanent codes, temp codes time limited codes. You can also setup a PIN code on your phone and then send that to the intended party. I had multiple issues with the front screen not lighting up or being unresponsive so i COULD type in an actual PIN. I had to really tap it multiple times to wake up the screen. Tested and worked, kind of.Keyfob/Card – You get a flat card which you put against the front which will also unlock the door. They are a little bulky when on your keychain but Sifely has an option (Sifely Key Fob with Keychain) to purchase a smaller form factor keyfob that looks better and is less bulky. Card Tested and worked. I ordered the Keyfob so i cant speak to it working or not.If you want to add this to Alexa/Google Home, youll need a Gateway, which Sifely also sells. Sifely Smart Lock Wi-Fi Gateway (Model Name: G2). What this does is allow you to actually remotely lock/unlock your device and enable Alexa/Google integration so you can use your voice to lock/unlock or add a Routine and actually unlock/lock it from anywhere. I ordered the Gateway so that test is still pending.I really like the Smart Lock. I like all the available methods to lock and unlock it so im not stuck not being able to get in my house if one of them fails or i can use one of the keys if the entire device fails. I would have given it 5 stars if the front panel actually worked consistently but it doesnt.

At last a product that eliminates the need for front door keys. An issue did arise with the handle that Sifely Support Team promptly sorted for me with little fuss. Delighted with the quality of the lock and ease of use.

I never have to carry keys anymore! It’s such a freedom I’ve never known. The set up and installation was quite easy. This product pays for itself, you’ll never have to pay for a locksmith again or get lost keys cut. It’s a great quality if life improvement for sure. The fingerprint reader works 95% of the time, I’d say the 5% it doesn’t work is completely my fault for not placing my finger correctly or if it’s a bit dirty.

REVIEWED AT MAY 2024.I bought another similar from the “brother brand” and noticed it has the same wrong behavior, moving the internal lever upwards makes impossible to open it from outside, it accepts the fingerprint or IC card but never moves the latch. To me, it is a faulty design.OIRGINAL COMMENT:Very good characteristics and very solid materials. The installation is done in a very short time, it is really easy. However, I noticed that moving the internal handle up, i.e. contrary to the direction to open and move the latch, the system is not available to open at all, neither using fingerprints, administration code, electronic keys, etc. The only way to open it is to use the physical key provided or if it opened from inside. This is really weird to me. It is not good at all for housing rentals (such as Airbnb). Imagine a guest who involuntarily moves the handle up before leaving, he will never be able to enter again!!! S/he will have to call the administrator to go (probably travel from far) to open the door. This is even worse when the intelligent lock is intended to the main door of a building, where there are several apartments, the involuntary handle movement will make impossible for all tenants to enter the building and they have to call and wait for the administrator to bring the physical key to open the main door … how annoying and shocking it can be whether this happens in the middle of the night. The support service that is really good and responsive, told me that it could be a defective factory lock and offered me to replace it, however, I am living in Japan and this lock was a kind of US import article, therefore, it was impossible to return it or receive a new one from factory. Fortunately, Amazon’s return window was still open and I could return this defective lock.I hope to find another smart lock that has the same characteristics like this, robust enough but fault free.

Installation took longer than anticipated as our door didn’t have a big enough hole to fit everything attached to the lock so we’ve had to cut a bigger hole.Once everything’s screwed in place, setting up everything on the app was really easy (passcode, fingerprint, card). So far so good, haven’t had any problems locking/unlocking.One thing I wasn’t sure about was how to lock the door from outside without using my phone and it turns out that it locks automatically after 5 seconds (default) of the door being closed – can be changed to longer/shorter delay.Fingerprint is very convenient and is the one I use the most. Phone, passcode and access card as back up.
