I personally do not own a Ferrari or Lamborghini but I down an American Supercar.This book is fantastically done. Pictures are like you are there really great really nice.You can see the making of the latest great Ferrari icon the Ferrari LaFerrari, the mules, the scales of the Hypercar.This is money well spent.

People wonder how a car like this goes from drawings to production , well this book has many answers . And also with this book it goes through a time line from the 288 GTO then to the F40 and finally the F50 . But with this lovely produced book it goes through to the LaFerrari . This book details the production time line from clay model to full production model , and the pictures are amazing .As this is the only book to my knowledge that covers this lovely car . Well done .

Die gesamte Produktion ist bereits ausverkauft. Es ist deshalb fraglich, ob und in welcher Form Ferrari Prospektmaterial über den “LaFerrari” auflegen wird.Umso erfreulicher ist es, dass in diesem 144 Seiten umfangreichen Band des Museo Ferrari in Maranello die Entwicklung und Entstehung des Sportwagens nachgezeichnet wird. Nach einigen grundlegenden Ausführungen zum “LaFerrari” und zu der Idee eines Super-Sportwagens lässt das Buch noch einmal die Vorgänger des “LaFerrari” Revue passieren: “288 GTO”, “F 40”, “F 50” und “Enzo Ferrari”. Dann folgt die Darstellung von Design, Technik, Cockpitgestaltung des “LaFerrari”. Aufnahmen vom Fahrversuch sind ebenso zu finden wie Abbildungen der ersten noch im kleineren MaÃstab gefertigten Modelle. Den krönenden Abschluss bilden die brillanten Aufnahmen des “LaFerrari” aus verschiedenen Perspektiven. Einigen Kapiteln sind Zitate des Firmengründers Enzo Ferrari und des heutigen CEO Luca di Montezemolo vorangestellt.Genaue technische Daten wollte man zum Zeitpunkt der Drucklegung dieses kompakten Buchs offenbar noch nicht publizieren, sie fehlen jedenfalls. Der Band ist mit 120 Abbildungen gut illustriert und stellt eine attraktive Vorabinformation über Ferraris neues Spitzenprodukt dar. Früher gab der in Mailand beheimatete Automobilia-Verlag von Bruno Alfieri über alle neuen Ferrari jeweils ein eigenständiges und ausführliches Buch heraus. Nachdem es Automobilia schon seit Jahren nicht mehr gibt, bleibt nur zu hoffen, dass vielleicht ein anderer Verlag diese Tradition jedenfalls beim “LaFerrari” fortsetzt.
