Lacked detail
This book did not really cover detail. Seemed more of a cookie cutter type of instruction book.

Not a bad introduction, but the author is clueless on quite a bit
There are too many repeated marketing sales points to take this all that seriously. For instance, cost. Azure is not cost effective except in some very narrow use cases. The majority of use cases make no fiscal sense to deploy to Azure. It seems like this book is perpetuating the “cargo cult” paradigm that pervades so many aspects of the software development world. But, hey. That’s what everybody else is doing, so it’ll work out, right? You’ll somehow avoid the majority of failed outcomes that others can’t, right? Because you’re special?
