    Excellent Primer
Much respect for the breadth of material covered, but the labs did not seem thoroughly vetted. Had to jury rig in some spots which is a good exercise in itself and overcome some incomplete explanations. That said my only real disappointment was the all too brief exploration of integrations with Azure Functions and Azure Automation.

Missing important steps in the explanations + too many erratas
I would expect a book on programming to be thorough in the explanation on how to get to a certain result, but in some cases, it feels like some steps are missing or not explained properly. Besides there are error in the formulas where they mistype the variables names or do not use quotation marks where the code request to. The first 150 pages -out of about 520- are worth it, however, if you buy this book is because you want to learn the more advanced stuff.. and there is where the errors start!

    Very disappointing
After forty years in the software development business and purchasing a myriad of software books along that journey I am sad to report this book as the most disappointing book I ever purchased. If one is expecting a start-to-finish tutorial for creating a working PowerApps distributable, then this book is not the place to go for instruction. The book is simply an unfocused collection of definitions of controls and data connections which could be derived from hovering over Tooltips in the PowerApps development environment on one’s own.The book read like it had not been professionally edited and the quality of the graphics was less than expected.

It’s a very basic level book. In most part of the book it goes in details what all fetures and controls etc. are available, which is kind of obvious just by looking at Powerapps environment. I bought this book for learning advanced techniques. I choose this book out of two books available on Amazon for PowerApps.

I bought this book as i intended to start from scratch learning powerapps but as i read the half of the book till chapter 7 i was really disappointed , the writer tries but don’t pass the meaning clear , i was get confused as many times as i tried to re read it, not recommended. It is really sad that Microsoft Press being bought by Pearson doesn’t write any more inside out books and for learning Power Apps you have to rely to publishers like Packt !Alexandros – Athens – Greece

Like all modern technologies there must be an element of refinement and maturity over time. This has certainly happened to the power platforms. Once the new platforms stabilise then experts and serious authors cam finally create the default training manuals for the rest of us… and I’m pleased to say that this really is the number one training manual for Power Apps. For novice and expert alike, it does a great job of taking you through the whole world of Power Apps from licensing all the way to complex, automated scenarios.Whilst it must be a said a little experience in O365 layout and navigation helps – this is not to be unexpected and shouldn’t be a negative due to Power Apps being part of the O365 Exo System. If you are looking to get into power apps or develop your power apps into advanced scenarios, then this is a must for you…This is the first “go to” Power Apps book that I have seen and by far the most comprehensive.
