Feeling Protected with My New Software
My feedback is really positive because this cybersecurity software is a game changer! The Secure VPN feature is awesome and keeps my browsing private. I’m also impressed with the Dark Web Monitoring and Antivirus protection â they give me peace of mind. The 12 Months subscription and Protection for 5 devices is a great added value for me. Plus, the Protection Score system is a neat feature that helps me understand my security status better. All in all, I’m really satisfied with this purchase.

Typical McAfee protection with TOO MANY POPUPS!
For a product that McAfee calls “Total Protection”, they spend a lot of time trying to sell me other products that I need to protect my life and device. It is impossible to turn on my computer without getting multiple notices about issues I have (tracking, etc) and requests to upgrade my product. I finally tuned off notifications for McAfee in Windows. Virus scan seems to work well. VPN is ok.

This is a great deal for Antivirus.
We’ve been using this for years with no problems. When it expires McAfee sends an offer to renew, but it generally costs around 5x what Amazon charges. It’s a download either way. If there is a difference I don’t know what it is. If you are already using McAfee the new download is very easy to install without the need to manually remove the old program.

Annoying ads, won’t work with BING
I live in the US. If I set the VPN to US, BING will not work. If I set VPN to other country, BING works but internet access is slow. If I set VPN to Great Britain, product prices are in euros, not USD. I don’t like the fact that I cannot turn their antivirus off for troubleshooting purposes. It will let me put it on pause for up to 45 minutes, but then it turns itself back on automatically. I have had other weird behavior on my PC since installing Mcafee, but, since I can’t turn it off without completely uninstalling it, I don’t know if Mcafee is the culprit or if it’s something else. The most annoying aspect of this piece of work is the ads that can’t be blocked or disabled. “You have 1.8 GB of unneeded files slowing down your PC. Click here to remove them.” When I click to remove the files, I get an offer to buy an upgrade to what I thought was a complete package. Then, when the year of the subscription expires, the price to renew will be three or four times what I paid for the first year. Guess what. I will not be renewing.

Enjoying Comprehensive Security Suite
So far, I have really enjoyed using this software. The Secure VPN feature is top-notch, providing a secure connection whenever needed. The antivirus protection is reliable and robust, giving me peace of mind. I appreciate the comprehensive coverage of the Total Protection package; it’s truly all-inclusive. Good product but shady support person
I have used mcafee for many years, I usually get an actual product code and instructions in the mail. This time it was sent electronically. With no instructions how to download. I called mcafee support and reached a scammer/hacker who wanted to help by logging into my computer then he proceeded to look at my email and was scrolling all over my computer. when I told him to get out and just show me how to download the program. He said my computer was broke and had 48 other people using it. Not true Iâm the only one that uses my computer, he proceeded to tell me that I need to buy a 150.00 firewall for it to work. I told him Iâm just going to check with another computer person before doing anything. He kept trying to get me to buy his products. I finally hung up on him. Very shady event and I hope mcafee does something about it I called back and the next person helped without logging into my computer, was a very simple process. Be careful when calling their support people.

Functions OK, but be prepared to be constantly harassed with upcharges
The software was relatively easy to install and seems to function perfectly fine, however you will be constantly pestered with pop-up windows attempting to scare you with alerts that claim to have found flaws in your operating system – all of which (coincidentally) can only be resolved by purchasing more of their add-ons.
