Download code worked great
This worked perfectly. And it was nice getting it on sale for prime day. The redemption code was easy to use. It was a little unclear from Microsoft after submitting the redemption code on what to do next. It took me to my Microsoft account and then didn’t give any directions. I had to scroll down to find my order history. There, I was able to click on the purchased product and click on “install” to begin the download to my computer. It downloaded just fine and everything seems to be working appropriately!

Buyer Beware
Microsoft can be very frustrating and confusing! After you order Office 2024 from Amazon you need to download Office 2024 from your Microsoft account. You will see a button to download Office 2024 but when you choose the download button Office 365 will show. After 2.5 hours dealing with Microsoft Customer Service I found out that Office 2024 and Office 365 are the same basic software. When you download the Office 2024 software it will look you have downloaded Office 365 and not Office 2024. When you open Word or Excel you will be prompted to Activate Office 365. Don’t panic. Go ahead an press the button to activate Office 365. You will then be prompted to log in to your Microsoft account and activate your Office 2024 account.Look out for the Microsoft support web site that is really the Geek Squad website. They will offer to fix the problem for $200.There are other options for word processing and spreadsheet software that are less hassle.

If it wasnât for the previous users comments, I think I wouldâve been frustrated locating the Office download. The instructions were easy to follow except to scroll towards the bottom to find the Office 2024 app.

Installation could be improved for Office 2024
I love the product and the price (I bought it during Prime Days), but the installation could be improved. I had read many reviews on the previous version where the major complaint was that the installation process first took you to a page to install Windows Office 365 so I knew to look further for Windows Office 2024. I eventually found it by clicking on my purchases in the drop-down menu on the left and was able to easily install it from there.I think that’s an inherent problem when both options are in the same product window.

Poor Customer Support, non working product!
I purchased Office 4 times while it was on sale but was unable to install the software. Farra in customer support was unable to help with anything but a refund but could not sell me a working copy at the sale price. She is rude and should find alternative work since she has no business in customer care. Amazon needs to fix their software sales so that they work.

Doesn’t work!!!! I’d give it zero stars if I could.
I have spent hours trying to get this to work. I have manually uninstalled the previous version (Office 2021), cleared the Office folders in AppData (both in Local and Roaming), uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times, restarted countless times, searched online for solutions (Google, Bing, even Co-pilot) with no success. After all this, Office 2021 still loads, not Office 2024. The next step is to contact Microsoft, which I really don’t want to do. Also, there doesn’t seem to be a way to do a return for this item.
