Great Design. Great Lock.
I love the minimal design and matte black finish. I installed it myself (first time installing a device like this) and everything went well. The wire piece was a little tough to connect, fearing I’d damage it but I got it in. The app is a little buggy but smooth most times. The fingerprint works flawlessly. Everything is working well. I highly recommend if you’re into this style of locks.

Good value
The overall lock and features make this a great value for a smart lock loaded with features. The installation was fairly simple for people who are handy. However, the hardware and screws are all in random bags so it leaves you guessing which screws/bolts are used for each step of the installation process. They should consider placing the appropriate hardware together in the same bags so you don’t need to guess. I also had to fight with the plastic locking clips to get the hardware to lock in place correctly and I was a little concerned that I might break something because the mechanism is plastic and locking to a metal bracket, but I was able to finesse it into place without breaking anything.The app to control the lock seems to work well and this smart lock has a lot of nice features. It would be ideal if you could re-key the lock to work with existing keys, but instead they provide two keys. Hopefully I’ll never need those anyway. The fingerprint reader is easy to program for multiple users and it’s also easy to set up PIN codes for multiple people. The sensor for automatically locking the door when it closes is also easy to install and calibrate, but I don’t love the fact that it sticks off of the door frame like an add-on, rather than looking professional. They also offer an alternate method of placing into the inside of the door frame, but the directions weren’t very clear so I went with the basic method.Lastly, the integration with Google Home was tricky, but after setting up the included wi-fi bridge and patiently researching online for solutions, I was able to get it working. The hardest part is that Google Home will want a completely different PIN code to interact with the door lock. That PIN has to be set up in the Philips app in the area where it shows the connection to your Google Home network. I’ve set up many smart home devices and this was probably the least intuitive device to get it working properly.Overall, this smart lock is a very good price for the features, so I would buy it again and recommend it. I’m only knocking off one star because the installation and setup could have been much easier for people who aren’t technically or mechanically inclined.

So I go to install the lock and it took me about 15 minutes which I guess is on the long side but it is a really easy and intuitive lock to install everything works well the app is very clean the build quality of the lock is wonderful the app functionality for the lock is really easy and intuitive all you do is press the button and it unlocks the fingerprint recognization is super fast you hold it on there for like 2 seconds and it’s good and I also want to say props to the customer service representative her name was April she helped me out in order to figure out the pin code for my Google home to unlock the door I really appreciate her help

terrible app
bought it around july, was workingtill I have experienced issue and need to reset and start over.it recorded very first activity on Jan17, 2025 after I reset my device on Nov 3rd, 2024.How do I try a device that can’t even get the time correct?Not only that, but I am also unable to configure door sensor as the app will just skip steps automatically and cause it to fail to calibrateAnd when I try to add recurring pin/duration pin code, the app crashes every time I try to modify the time.I guess I got a “DEAD”bolt
