Why didn’t I buy this sooner??
Wow. I really can’t even express how wonderful it is to have my own ultrasound machine. In one month I have already saved double the cost of this in ultrasounds alone, plus the convenience of not having to make any appointments or drive anywhere. I can pregnancy check whenever I want, as early or late into the pregnancy as I want. I can take a peek at the babies and monitor their growth and movement as often as I want. And what is definitely the most essential is the fact that I can now monitor labor and delivery without any guessing. Real time insight into whether the puppies are in distress, immediate answers as to whether there are any more left in there. It has saved me such an incredible amount of stress and worry. My last mother to give birth still had a “belly” that, from my experience, looked like she still had two puppies left to deliver. After a 24 hour long delivery, we were both utterly exhausted. I most definitely was going to take her to the emergency vet thinking that there were more in there. Thanks to the ultrasound machine, I was able to take a thorough look inside and – to my surprise – I found no more puppies. She had just gained some weight during pregnancy. We were both able to take a long awaited nap. Hind sight is 20/20 – but when you’re in the thick of it, it’s nerve wracking. Families asking you non-stop whether she’s pregnant, asking how many you think she might have, and then you asking yourself whether or not you’re going to need to drive her to the vet during labor… This is the answer to all of those questions. It’s a real pain in the butt to make a vet appointment for the date and time you actually want it, to get there on time, to only get to see the unborn puppies for a fleeting minute or two, and then have to fork over $200 dollars. I am never paying for another pregnancy check again! This machine has a much clearer image than I expected for the price. I can see the puppies surprisingly well. Once they get to be close to their due date they get too big and cramped in there to really see much more than spines and heart beats. There is no sound, no way to listen to heartbeats, but you can see the hearts beating on the screen. It is as easy as flip a switch, wait a moment, and start ultrasounding! You need to buy gel. You also need to be SUPER careful with the probe – it is the most delicate and expensive part of the machine (so a vet told me). It charges up with a nice long power cord and runs on battery, but you can also use it with just the power cord with the battery missing. It comes with a beautiful case! The translated directions are a bit wonky, and the strange buttons are intimidating to say the least, but fortunately it works straight out of the box without having to do anything except turn it on. It came in the mail faster than I expected and it was packaged well. I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!UPDATE:Four months later and still enamored with my ultrasound machine. Had a mobile vet visit me yesterday and she was curious about my machine since she also offers ultrasounds; her first question was when it was made and so we checked the back, and to our surprise it was actually made THIS YEAR! January 2021. Woohoo! ðOver the past few months I’ve had several of my breeder friends come over for pregnancy checks. So popular now… LOL!I also discovered that you can accurately pregnancy check as early as 18 days into pregnancy!! You can see them on this machine!

Very detailed
This machine definitely takes a little bit of work to understand how to use it, but it definitely is worth the money. I used it for dogs and a friend used it for her goats. Be prepared to spend time learning how to use the machine, google and YouTube videos will help. Great machine and saves money on vet checks

Great product
I already paid for this machine from the ultrasounds I have done on cats, dogs, goats, sheep and even a horse. It is easy to use if you know what you are doing. the instructions are a little confusing and it would be nice to have a video on how to use certain functions

I love it!!
It took me quite some time to figure out how to use it successfully, but with patience and persistence, I got it! Now I can confirm our own pregnancies in our dogs and the best part is watching the babies grow up! Totally worth it!

Impossible to get support
No instructions and impossible to figure out. Even had my vet come out to try to get it to work.It obviously needs a software update.Do NOT recommend – next time I will spend a little more money and get something that has support.

Worth it
Theres a video on youtube that was EXTREMELY helpful, just type in the model number. I am now able to confirm pregnancy and scan while my dog is in labor. No more scheduling vet appointments and spending money every pregnancy for confirmations. No more wondering if my mama is done whelping. Glad I purchased this.

Picture Quality
I guess I shouldn’t expect so kick for thr price point however the picture quality sucks. Though it does get the job done to simply confirm pregnancy for dogs.

Not a very good product. Itâs hard to get a picture that is clear enough to see a pregnancy with the rectal probe in a horse. The external probe works ok to see puppies in a dog once there further a long in the pregnancy
