Very well written! I found this book to be extremely useful. A part of my job requires in depth knowledge of managing SQL Server and tuning performance. This book was pretty helpful in tuning the server.

Not bad; plenty of info; needs editing.
This book needs editing.. I’ve seen paragraphs that seemed to be missing a sentence, sentences I could not make heads or tails of (and I’ve been a DBA on MS SQL Server, Oracle, and Sybase for over a decade), and one example that read, “Following are the three most important pillars…” followed by five bullet points. Heh. That said, it’s a reasonably useful overview of MS SQL Server 2014, so if you can look past a flaw now and again, go for it.

Il libro tratta tutte le tematiche sistemistiche relative a SQL Server 2014. Ã un’ottima base di partenza per avere una overview della versione 2014 di SQL Server.. Naturalmente i singoli argomenti vanno eventualmente approfonditi con testi specifici (per esempio In-Memory OLTP, ecc.)
