Great color. Amazon showed this was also compatible with the ring pro 2. However, is not.Pro 2 has the security screw on the right. This faceplate has the security screw on the left.Easy to return and quickly got a replacement

Looks almost identical to brass metal.
I ordered this faceplate (along with a Ring Video Doorbell Pro) to replace an ailing, first-generation Ring Doorbell model with a brass finish. (They stopped making these with a bright brass finish when the second-generation models were introduced, as I think this color had fallen out of favor.) However, I was hoping that I could get something that would match my door hardware, and other nearby detail. When these became available, I was relieved. The new doorbell installed easily, and this new faceplate looks great. From a distance, you almost can’t tell that it’s made of a high-quality plastic (and not real metal). The “gold metal” paint has a smooth, even finish that has just the right diffuse reflection, which looks very *VERY* close to lightly brushed brass. We’ll see how well this lasts over time, but I’m hoping things will work out nicely!
