Roborock robot vacuum only supports 2.4G WiFi. However, since most routers support both have 2.4G and 5G, in order to ensure the machine’s stability, it is recommended to switch to 2.4G WiFi when using the robot by following the instructions of your router setup.
7-Weeks of Hands-Free Cleaning: The Auto-Empty Dock Pure empties the robot automatically after cleanup, so you don’t have to do it manually or frequently. With its 2.5L dust bag it stores up to seven weeks of debris. Perfect gifts for families and friends.
Deeper Cleaning with Powerful 4200Pa Suction: With an incredible maximum suction power of 4200Pa, the Q7 Max+ easily lifts debris and pet hair from floors, drags it from cracks, and draws it from carpets. When a carpet is detected, it will automatically increase its suction to the maximum for deep cleaning.
Twin Cleaning Power: Vacuum and mop at the same time to remove fine dust that vacuuming alone may miss. Equipped with an electronic pump, the Q7 Max+ offers 30 water flow levels so you can fine-tune cleaning to match your floor types and preferences.
Clean Smarter with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation: Extremely accurate LiDAR navigation creates precise maps of your home, effectively tracks cleaning routes, unlocks a wide range of smart cleaning functions, and can even be viewed in 3D. You can also add furniture and floor materials to recreate your home virtually.
Combined Dustbin & Water Tank: Combining the 470 ml dustbin and 350 ml water tank has made both larger, so that you can clean more without emptying or refilling.
Upgraded Brush System: An all-rubber brush strongly resists hair tangles making it ideal for tackling long hair and pet hair. With four planes of movement, it stays close to the floor for more effective cleaning on uneven surfaces.
Long-Lasting Cleaning: A super-sized battery powers the robot for up to 180 minutes of runtime, or a maximum vacuuming range of 3229 sqft. Robot vacuum only supports 2.4G WIFI.

    Roomba who?
Let me start by of by saying I researched robot vacuums for days. I started by looking at the big boys like Roomba, Neato, etc. What led me to the Roborock was the massive amount of reviews and good ratings.I bought this one on those reviews and the hundreds of dollars cheaper price, and after a year I can confidently say this was a good decision.I like that the Roborock does a non-random cleaning pattern – it doesn’t just bounce around hoping it hits everything, this does a grid clean. I also like that it remaps the area each clean so you don’t have to worry about having moved something since the last clean, it will remap each time. If you want it to clean another floor of your house, just set it in the middle of the floor and go – once it finishes it’ll return to where you set it (or the dock if it’s on the same floor).PROS:Mapping – this thing is silly accurate. It’ll create a blueprint like map of your entire cleaning area. The laser is super accurate and mapping amazing. It will clean every place with grid like accuracy. You can see the areas it’s covered on the map and create a section for it to clean again. So accurate it maps the patio through the glass door.Cleaning – it has good suction and cleans well, arguable as well as a traditional vacuum. Sometimes requires a second pass if haven’t done it in while. It is low profile enough to get under our couches and chairs. If it’s really dirty, you can run it again and it’ll handle it nicely. Dustbin is easy to remove and empty, the filter also pops out and is easy to clean.Battery – lasts more than enough to clean entire floor of house and likely two floors. If it runs out, it’ll return to charge enough, then go back to finish the job.Control – after it maps your house it’ll save the map until restating a regular cleaning again – allowing you to spot clean with 1, 2, or 3 times going over the same area. If you restart it, it will clear the map and have to remap. Using app on Samsung smartphone is easy, app is good and works to track cleaning and eventually provide things like a usage timer to remind to replace certain parts (sweeper, filter, clean sensor, etc). They are constantly improving the app and updating software, arguably its gotten even better overtime.Mopping – it has a mop attachment which is good enough to keep clean, but is a nice to have feature…it won’t mop as good as a regular mop. Perfect for keeping it clean between actually mopping.Replacement parts – replacement parts like brushes, filters, and pads are cheap and easily available on Amazon. It’s been ran for about a year with hundreds of hours cleaning on the clock and haven’t had any issues with breaking.CONS:Capacity – arguably the only thing I don’t love about this is the capacity. The dustbin is not huge and you do have to empty it frequently and often, especially if you haven’t cleaned in a few days. If you run it daily I think it could clean the whole house without having to stop and empty it. It won’t tell you it is full, it’ll continue to run and not pick up stuff since the bin is full. We have two dogs who shed a decent amount and have to stop it to empty it after every 10 minutes if it hasn’t run in a few days. As long as you stop it and empty it regularly during a heavy cleaning, it’s great. No auto-full sensing – the thing can’t tell when it’s full and will continue to run with a full bin. If it’s been a while, stop it to check/empty it or it’ll just finish and not actually be picking up stuff. Arguably, there’s not much to not like – you just have to be mindful if it’s getting full.SUMMARY:I did a lot of research on this one and pulled the trigger. Seeing so much many good reviews swayed me and happy to add my review too. Had it for about a year now and have absolutely no regrets. Like anything you buy, it’ll come with its quirks and strengths and weaknesses. In this case, the strengths far outweigh the weaknesses (small dust bin and no full-bin sensing). It’s been good quality, works well, and does all that a big-boy brand vacuum would do for less cost. Imagine buying a Roomba without the premium for the name – that’s the case here. I’m glad I trusted the reviews and happy to add one here. Keep an eye out for discount coupons and pick one up! It’s a great robot vacuum!

    Extremely impressed
Okay, so this thing is actually a life changer for a couple reasons.1) We have a labrador. Even with consistent brushing, her hair is always EVERYWHERE and coagulates in corners on the floor and under our couch (which this robot can scoot under).2) I now am horrified at the realization of how much crap and nastiness accumulates in the floor of a house within 24hrs. I’ll never be the same. The pictures of the dust bin below are from single runs 24hrs apart in our small, carpeted bedroom. EVERY, SINGLE, DAY, this little robot picks up an ENTIRE bin’s worth of dust and hair from our bedroom, as well as a full bin from our kitchen and living room which is hardwood. It’s actually insane – it’s not like we live in a palatial mansion, they’re normal sized rooms – and I’ll never look at the floors of my house the same ever again. As far as the robot itself (which I’ve affectionately named Ding Dong), it’s adorable and does everything it needs to do efficiently and effectively. It’s a little louder than I expected it to be, especially when it’s running over carpet or when I have the vacuum power turned all the way up, but since I’m running this during the day, it’s a complete non-issue. This thing could sound like a jet engine in my living room and I would still give it 5 stars because of how well it cleans. The app is also intuitive and easy to use. I don’t like that it requires wifi to work because I’m a privacy fiend, so I set it up with an old cellphone on a network that’s only used by roborock and other smart home devices. The beta mapping feature works wonderfully; I have my rooms setup and can quickly tell Ding Dong which rooms I want her to clean. The app also has a maintenance category which will keep you informed on when routine tasks should be performed, such as cleaning the brush or replacing a filter, as well as an instruction manual built in to help you through your first days of usage without needing to flip through a booklet. Other appliance app developers should be looking at this one and taking notes.I should also mention that we got almost $200 off the list price because of the Amazon sale and another coupon I found online, so for me, the price point was great. If I had needed to pay $429 or $499 (current list price), I don’t know that this would be five star. I do feel that $500 is a bit overpriced, especially considering the discontinuation of the S4, which is what I was originally intending to purchase. Having a more expensive model (eg, the Max) is all well and good, but the price is a bit more problematic when the original model is no longer available (ESPECIALLY when there is a *visciously competitive* market for used or “open box” S4s on resale sites like ebay). I also wish Roborock would change their website to reflect that the S4 is no longer sold; currently, the page for the original S4 links to this listing here for the Max. I find that misleading. So, overall, since I was able to buy the S4 Max at a steep discount, I’m over the moon with this purchase. Ding Dong is a huge time saver, and within the span of a week, she has made a noticable improvement to the air quality in our house… So much so that I’m starting to form a belief that access to a robot vacuum should be a universal right. If you’ve got the extra cash and have been holding off pulling the trigger on a robot vacuum, let me be the first to suggest that you treat yourself. I really don’t think you’ll regret it; even at MSRP of $500.

I’m incredibly happy with this, it works really well for sweeping maintenance with a cat who tracks litter around and sheds a lot. The app is easy to use and set up no go zones.I am not using the Mop feature.

You’re paying a premium for two features here : vacuum intelligence and in-app mapping. Those two features were important to me so I didn’t mind. If you don’t care about those things, go for a cheaper model like Eufy.If you mind, the S4 is a damn good choice. The mapping is outstanding, controlling this vacuum from my smartphone is surprisingly convenient, you can also point it to a place so it only goes there, was useful to me as i cook a lot with flour. The S4’s map makes it smart and efficient, it will do the contour of the room, then zigzag in straight lines as much as it can. It also doesn’t care about most carpet, only struggling with the highest ones we use as a welcome mat. It had issues with bar stools, as it tried non-stop to climb the rounded sides, but I was able to setup a no-go zone in the app so it ignores the bar stools.Great mid-range vacuum. If you wanna spend the money to get past entry-level products, this is a great choice.
