Small and quiet
I have been looking for a robot vac for my Mom, something small and convenient for her downsized space. So when this unit from Switchbot was announced, I immediately put it on my wishlist.The most striking thing about the K10+ right outta the box is that it’s small. We have a Roomba as well, and the K10 is diminutive next to it. Even with the charging stand, the footprint for this unit is very manageable. As with all things Switchbot, the design is understated, modern minimal. I appreciate the aesthetics – and the fact that it can hide in many spots means that even if you don’t, it won’t stick out like a sore thumb in your space.Build quality also seems good, like usual. Out bot actually fell down our stairs during the mapping function (learn from us, put a physical barrier up first) but seems fine still. After mapping, you can designate no-go zones really easily in the app to prevent accidents. The integration with the app is pretty slick. Not only does it constantly update me on progress (“I’m gonna get back to work”) but it also gives access to the map and other information. I’m constantly surprised at how well Switchbot does to keep integrating different machines into the app. I’m excited to play around with developing some scenes. Mood lighting for cleaning?? HahaAs for the cleaning, so far so good. It’s very quiet. Much quieter than our other vac, letting it melt into the background while it’s running. The small size allows it to maneuver well, hitting corners others can’t. Cleaning happens in straight lines, in an orderly fashion, different to my other, less intelligent botvac. Suction isn’t the most powerful but works well for a daily touch up cleaner for sure. Capacity and battery life are minor concerns, especially for a bigger space, but it empties and recharges quickly. There is some level of babysitting that needs to happen – floors need to be clear, it will get stuck sometimes, it might not align with the base. But all of those issues are true of all robot vacs I have used; these are less faults of the K10+ than issues with the entire category. Robot vacs are great for regular maintenance but I don’t think I could ever see replacing a powerful upright for a periodic deep clean ever. JMHO.If you’re in the market for a robot vac, with advanced features like mapping and auto-empty, the K10+ is a really intriguing choice. I do wish the industry would figure out a reusable bag for auto-empty units, I’ll be first in line for that!But, I’m really happy with the K10+. A Switchbot fanboy, and still one after getting this. In fact, I sort of don’t want to give it up to my Mom! Haha

Powerful vacuum in a small package at an affordable price
I was very surprised by the performance of this vacuum at the price point just because I was under the impression that you had to spend near $1000 to get a robot vacuum with good suction and mapping. Instead, this vacuum is able to offer all the premium features at a much lower price.The vacuum even at standard suction level is already quite strong despite being so small. The mapping is incredibly fast and accurate to the point where I can even see the legs of a chair in the map and the robot knows that it can go between the legs of the chair to clean thoroughly. It has no issues with knowing where it is even if you pick it up and relocate it. With a large wheel base, it has no problem getting over bumps to get into bathrooms. It does, however, occasionally, get stuck in a tangle of wires, but I’m not sure other robot vacuums can do better.It even comes a dust bin in the charging base which the vacuum empties into a dust bag. It has QoL features like quiet mode during the night as the dust bin emptying process can get quite loud. It also has almost all of its accessories cleverly hidden in the charging base so you don’t need to have a special place to store them.Almost every aspect of this vacuum has surprised me at how good it is. However, this vacuum also has a mopping mode which I cannot recommend using. Unlike other robot mops, it doesn’t have a water tank so it relies on a wet mopping cloth. The included wet mopping cloths are just sanitizing wipes with cut outs to attach to the included mopping plate. While the instructions say that the mopping cloths are good for 20-30 minutes of mopping, I found that they started to dry out after 5 minutes and started making scratching sounds against the floor at that point. Fortunately, I tested it on laminate flooring, but I’d be concerned about scratching on a hardwood floor. Despite the poor mopping performance though, as a vacuum, it exceeded all expectations and is still worth the 5 stars.

Great Mini Robot Vacuum For Small Places.
This little vacuum is great love mostly all about it. But it has some work to be done.Cons:1.Wonât empty itself sometimes automatically. For example itâll vacuum my place and says itâll empty dust bin, which it does go back to its station but it will NOT empty itself and resume vacuuming. (Check video attached) you have to manually click the empty dustbin on the app (again this is sometimes not always). Because the dust bin is so small, when it doesnât empty and âcontinues to vacuumâ itâs useless because it doesnât pick anything up because the dust bin is packed with debris.2.Dust bin very small. Ok, if you have very small place to vacuum. Not ideal for pet owners (check picture attached)(only one room vacuumed) gets clogged sometimes when emptying dustbin. Sometimes you have to empty dustbin twice with the app or manually empty it. Because the debris gets so packed in the dust bin it canât get it out to empty.3. Brush roll will get hair tangled and youâll have to keep cleaning it, if you don’t, it will give you an error message saying itâs stuck lolPros:Made pretty durable. Setup and connection was easy. Mapped my place easy and fast. Constantly updates maps. You can have multiple maps. Suction is good, cleans good, gets in to small spaces. You can see where itâs vacuuming and cleaned on the app. You can schedule its cleaning route and what room to get done first and what power level. You can remotely move the vacuum to a different location to vacuum with the app. Itâs now matter supported, so you can connect it to HomeKit (only on/off features as of right now) (hub required). It has almost all the features Iâve been looking for in robot vacuums. It does have mop cleaning but I didnât test that because my place is almost all carpet.If you need to vacuum one room like your office, this is a great vacuum. But for the whole house itâs a little too small, especially if you have furry pets.

Edit #2:Customer support reached out to me and wow, I was very impressed by how they handled everything. Betty was very helpful assisting me, and very responsive. I shipped the defective vacuum back, was refunded shipping, and they sent me a new one. So far that one is working well. They also took care of duties and offered one year worth of consumables!I hope that this vacuum doesn’t encounter any issue, but I know that if it does, customer support will take care of it. Amazing.Edit :After only one month of owning this robot, I’m getting an error message that makes it unusable. My “top radar is not rotating” even though it’s perfectly fine. I tried everything. Customer support has never contacted me back (you have to go through the app) . I tried calling them at different times of the day and am always getting “no agent available”. Same through emails. For 400$+, it’s very disappointing.—-I received this cute vacuum today, to replace my old one that just kicked the bucket after 6 years of loyal service.Very easy to set up, it looks like well made and convenient. The small size is great, it goes everywhere, and clean fairly quietly (especially compared to my old one).So far it didn’t get stuck anywhere, and handles my rugs (the sisal one too!) like a champ. I like the app, and the mapping with different rooms is AMAZING (I didn’t have that with my previous robot) and allows me to clean that particular room where my cat has his litterbox and puts pellets everywhere.It’s only it’s first day but I’m glad I chose that vacuum!

Works like a song ! It learns quickly .. gets the floor spic and span. You can schedule cleaning .. and it does its job perfectly. Iâm yet to test the mopping function.

Me gusta la tecnologÃa , pero no le veÃa utilidad a este tipo de producto en mi casa .Puedo decir que a dÃa de hoy estoy in love con este aparato. Al ser más reducido de tamaño se adapta mejor a mi hogar , se mete por debajo de las sillas y con su único cepillo gira y repasa .Se va a vaciar sola . En 1 hora y media limpió toda la casa , 135 m .Se sube a las alfombras sin problema y las repasa bien . Y la función fregona aunque no la valoran mucho a mà me parece que está muy bien . Probé con una bayeta de microfibra fina impregnada , en vez de la toallita que trae de origen y me encantó el efecto.No puedo estar más contenta .No me parece para nada ruidosa , en mi casa no necesitarÃa poner la función no molestar.Gracias !

doet zijn werk zeer nauwkeurig pakt elk klein hoekje mee, maakt een goede plattegrond en ook het aansturen gaat perfect.we hebben hiervoor twee robotstofzuigers geprobeerd van â¬1500, per stuk maar deze snel weer retour gestuurd maar de switchbot mag blijven 🙂 zeer tevreden!!

Installé depuis quelques semaine, cet aspirateur robot est petit et du coup passe vraiment partout.Après une phase de cartographie, j’ai pu donner le nom des pièces et je peux le lancer lancer dans une pièce spécifique, c’est très pratique.La force de ce modèle, qui m’a convaincu de l’acheter c’est qu’il se vide seul dans sa base. Le volume du sac de la base est très grand.Il est très silencieux et peu passer sans problème la nuit pour ne pas déranger. En définissant des “no-go zone” cela évite les problèmes avec les câbles électriques, c’est top.J’ai par contre trouvé anecdotique la linguette nettoyante, qui fonctionne bien mais devant être installer à la main au démarrage, n’est pas la fonction que j’utiliserai beaucoup. Le pack de démarrage en contient pas mal d’ailleurs. L’appli de pilotage est bien conçue et est conviviale.Je suis très étonné du peu de bruit que fait cet aspirateur. Par contre la vidange du bac est bruyante mais on peu programmer des horaires de silence.C’est un bon aspirateur qui est discret et est très bien pour l’entretien régulier de la maison.J’aime bien aussi le fait qu’il peut gérer les étages et donc des cartographies différentes.Il suffit de le mettre à l’étage et de choisir la carte enregistré dans le menu des cartes enregistrées.+ : silencieux, passe partout, multicartes- : a du mal avec des gros déchets, linguettes anecdotiques
