Instant doorbell chimes for my Nest Doorbell
I know this is going to sound strange but I bought this to be my chime for my Nest Doorbell. It works great and I still get to use it as an assistant. Great bonus.

Tight fit!
Okay, I was able to get it to work, but there’s some things you should know. The speaker fits REALLY tight to the holder, you’ll need to put it with the adapter (power unit) connector first, then just slide it into the holder. It doesn’t look like it’s blocking the second outlet, and I won’t know until I need to try it. Other than that it seems to be working out well, it’s not like I’m having to move it around, you really just set it up, and forget it. I spent more time just setting up the actions/commands for it with my Nest system. It’s very light, and feels sturdy for being plastic material.

I have Nest Minis installed in my restrooms throughout the house. I wanted them to take up little space, and I still needed access to at least one electrical socket. This did the trick.

My cats decided to chew through the old dangling power cord. It would cost almost as much as the whole unit to replace just the cord – so I was very happy to see this alternative. It works perfectly and looks much tidier than the old angling cord. I highly recommend it!
