    Great Value and Quality
These transformers appear of great quality when taken out of box. The color and quality of transformers are exactly as pictured online. Very easy to use and transform for both my 6 year old and 4 year old. These appear to be a great fit for any 4-6 year old age range. They move easily.

TRULY A SMOOTH ONE STEP CONVERSION
Reviewing the Transformers Rescue Bots: Griffin Rock Team (Amazon Exclusive).True to their word of an easy one step conversion, FINALLY found transformers that even our 2 year old can transform ALL by himself!!!!Once we showed him the very very smooth and simple pull the legs apart to make the robot and push the legs together to make the vehicle, he never asked for help and never has to wait for someone to figure it out so he can play. He still LOVES playing with them every day and the sizes are perfect for his little hands. They’re also well made and look just like the bots on TV!

Excellent toy; Heatwave is a bit tricky tho
I bought these for Christmas for my two kids who are absolutely in love with all things rescue bots. All bots with the exception of Heatwave is very easy to maneuver their transformation. Blades and Boulder are easiest; and Chase is easy once you get a hang of it.The only tricky one is Heatwave; the transformation isn’t difficult for an adult. You basically have to (in one hand) grab hold of the cab portion of the bot down so that the arms/front wheels and head stay in while you push it up, while the other hand holds on to the back of the truck. It’s easy for an adult — and my 5 year old got it after a few tries. My 3 year old however, who can’t at all manage to grab the whole front… it was a very frustrating experience. But being stubborn as he is he has figured out how to manage the transformation with his own little hands. So it can be done … just not easily. To the credit of the toymakers though, Playskool seems to have made these bots quite sturdy. With my 3 year old yanking and pulling at Heatwave bits and forcing every bit of his strength over the toy while mastering the transformation, I was SO sure it would break within days (if not hours!). Amazingly even after several dozens of times of being forced to do things it wasn’t meant to do, Heatwave is still whole! Unbroken! Functioning. This is rather AMAZING for a plastic toy; beyond what we expected.I’m giving 4/5 because the toy set is rather awesome and has sat through hours of make believe play. -1 * goes for the frustration we had to experience with heatwave. If your child is really young or gets frustrated easily, I’d just give them the 3 of the 4 bots first, and introduce Heatwave at a later time or when you have plenty time to address their frustration.

    My Toddlers Favorite Toys
My 3yr old son absolutely adores this set and plays with them easily all day. They are perfect size for his hands and easy to transform. He even has me tuck them in with him at night!! They have survived being thrown down the stairs on multiple occasions and even being accidentally stepped on with full force from myself. Love there durability!!! No regrets.

These are a hit with my 6 year old.
My son loves these. So has any kid he has shown them to. Great gift idea. These are sturdy and have survived the longest out of our battling transformers.

    toddler loves them!!!
if your kid likes robots or namely rescue bots, they WILL LOVE THESE. they look just like the tv show, easy to transform but can’t really move after that. Chase the police bot’s legs are connected to springs and they easily bend so his legs dont fully come out straight and can no longer stand on his own.The other bots are sturdy and don’t have this issue. Ages 3-7 is what I would expect someone to play with these.

Very cool set, Heatwave is the only one you can find in stores anymore and at $15 a piece separately this is still a good deal. It’s the complete “Griffen Rock” set and they are also in the “Rescue bots academy” show. The transformation is very simple, my 2 year old wants everything my 4 year old has and they both play with these. My 2 year old can transform a few of them, there are no small or removable pieces.
