This does not manage the cable. It’s not enough space for even half of the cable and the cable that it will receive doesn’t stay in place. It falls out while you wrap it. The stand is too tight to hold the unit, Waste of money. Returned in less that 2 hours.

Stand works great but it is extremely difficult to wrap the cord and keep it wrapped. If we try and move it the cord will completely unravel.

This product is not as good as the sales blurb suggests. The idea is an excellent one and this was the main reason I decided to purchase. I read the sales description and I saw three reasons for buying this; 1. Keeping the speaker distanced from potential damage from spills etc. 2. The ability to angle the screen easily. 3. The ability to hide any excess cable. However the actual experience I have had is somewhat different. My Google Nest Hub is certainly out of harms way now, except that it isn’t a snug fit in the stand and you have to be careful when adjusting the angle of the screen. The cable management system underneath the stand is not fit for purpose and the cable is kept in place (with extreme difficulty) by the weight of the stand and the speaker itself. If you have to move the stand, the cable falls out from it’s loosely held position and you have to start storing it again. It is not worth the price paid and I couldn’t recommend it in it’s present design format.
