Secure and convenient
I like how it says something if the bolt doesn’t lock all the way, so that you don’t leave home thinking the door is locked when it isn’t. The ability to set multiple fingerprints, codes, and fobs per user is a great function and it doesn’t actually need wifi for anything except the initial setup unless you’re going to be using the wireless functions, but it’s more secure without it connected after setup. The original one from Amazon had to be returned because of the poor condition I received it in, but Home Depot had the same kind and that’s what we installed. I didn’t want to leave a bad review on a great product because of what had to be a warehouse error. Highly recommend this as a home security upgrade as long as you keep it off network access and it would even be good for rentals because extra key fobs are really cost friendly and codes can be easily reprogrammed from your phone.

Functions well. Installs well. Could use heavier duty door knob.
The instructions were okay. Bluetooth and wifi are good. Finger print scanner and capacitive touch key pad takes a little getting used to. Haven’t tried it in the cold yet, but hopefully it works.I was hoping I could add the door lock to an existing Smartlife hub network but It does require its own hub in order for wifi to work but that is a minor inconvenience. The hub comes with it.It is worth the money.

Easy install, easy programming with app.Smart lock works with Alexa as well. The temporary key code allows for someone else to temporarily enter when Iâm not home if needed. I was recently hospitalized and needed someone to walk my dog and was able to let them in due to the temporary code. You can set it to a specific length of time or indefinitely. Great feature. It also has fingerprint access, fob access, code access, or via Alexa or app.

Great lock, even better customer service!
If you’re looking for a stylish smart door lock, look no further! This lock allows many ways to get into your home, including the ability to unlock remotely. Not only is the lock pretty, the battery life is better than others, and it is very easy to set up and use. My only issue is that it cannot be used on my door! 🙁 The deadbolt has a rectangular metal piece that is supposed to be placed in the inset on the side of the door. My door is metal and doesn’t have this inset. We cannot drill screws into the door, and the door won’t close if we lay the piece flat. Our old deadbolt had a round part to secure it, and we need the same part for this lock. We even tried to use the piece from our old lock but it didn’t fit properly. I contacted customer service and am thankful Barrett was on the other end of the call. He was wonderful! He texted, called, and FaceTimed with me to see my door and try to fix my issue. Barrett informed me that the rectangular metal piece cannot be removed but he will bring my issue to his supervisor’s attention. Hopefully the company will begin making that piece removable and include the round part for people who have doors like mine. I would definitely buy it!

Difficult Setup
Could not get it to work. Followed setup instructions and bluetooth failed, then it didn’t, then it wouldn’t lock or unlock from the app, then it would lock but not unlock. Help line answered by foreign national who was difficult to understand. Finally it got too much to deal with. Sent it back.

Phenomenal Product
I was hesitant buying this as there are so many options on Amazon for similar products. I was considering spending more money for a big brand product, but Iâm so happy I didnât. Iâve had this for months now, and the connectivity and functionality of the app has great speed and ease of installation. You can add a lot of fingerprints to this. If you donât want that, you have literal key fobs as well as keys to open this. You can also enter a code. Just impressive lock quality for the price.
