Good Water Sensor, Home Assistant capable
The kit comes with 3 water sensors and 1 Tuya ZigBee gateway. They recommend using the SmartLife app, but works fine to add the gateway to the Tuya app if you are already using it for other devices like myself.The gateway is the GW018-DM. The water sensors are the WL08-ZigBee.Setup was simple with the Tuya app, I plugged in the gateway and then put it in pairing mode and the app found it immediately. After I setup the water sensors. We opened the back part, removed the rubber cover for the electronics (this is a nice touch to help prevent water going there), and pulled the battery tab out. Next I closed it back up, make sure to point the up arrow up to find the correct orientation for the three tabs.Putting the sensors in pairing mode does take a little bit of force. The manual states 5 seconds but looked to be more like 10 for me to keep the flashing led. This is done by pressing down on the device. Once it was ready the Tuya app found it right away. With that said Connectivity was a snap.I tried the sensors in water and got an audible alarm. The audible alarm wasnât too loud but considering the size of the device itâs expected. The app quickly gave me an alert though that there was a leak and cleaning the sensor from water also almost immediately cleared the code. During the testing battery life continued to show 100% and still shows 100%.A neat feature of these being ZigBee is that I was able to pair them directly to Home Assistant via Zigbee2MQTT. It is picked up as a Ts0207, but it was a similar process to add them (without the use of the gateway). It did require to remove the battery and re-add to properly interview all the exposes. Testing it with Home Assistant and Z2M the alerts were also pretty much immediately! I love that this can help me integrate with other parts of my smart home more efficiently.Overall these sensors are a good value for money and I would recommend them.

Solid Product, Annoying Packaging and Slightly Cumbersome App
The product arrived in good condition and serves the purpose well as advertised, functions properly and successfully alerts me to water when I tested it. The only minor drawbacks were packaging that was annoying difficult to open without destroying it, making a return very difficult if it was necessary, and an app that was a little cumbersome to set up initially. Once I got the packaging open and the system set up, it works well and seems to be of good quality overall. I would definitely recommend this product if you need to be able to have quick and reliable notification of any leaking water.

Worth passing on!
Takes a long time for the sensors to recognize they are IN water, not just that water is barely hitting them. And they are not very loud at all. I don’t trust them either at this point.

Awesome way to help prevent water problems
These are what I’ve been looking for for years. I’ve had issues with water coming in through one of my window wells ever since buying my current house every time there is a huge rain storm or if it snows a lot and then rains and melts all the snow rapidly. I set two of these in the window sill of that window with the problems and one under my kitchen sink. I haven’t had a window water problem yet with these but I did have a the one under the kitchen sink go off just a couple days ago. My son had knocked over a bottle of dish liquid under the sink and it started leaking. Before it could make a big mess, I got a notification on my phone and the little sensor under the sink started beeping. I went and checked it out and there was a little mess, I was able to easily clean it up. What I really love is that since I didn’t fully open up the sensor and dry it completely, it continued to beep and send me notifications on my phone until I opened it up and fully cleaned it out and dried it. That tells me that if I happen to miss the first notification, it’s going to keep sending me notifications until I take care of the water problems if I have them in the future.This was fairly easy to set up. It took me a little bit of reading the instructions and time but overall, not a difficult process and will be such a life saver. They also take up very little room.

Work well for detecting water, I have a different use case
These leak detectors work well, and despite the misleading listing (you only get three sensors) I would recommend them. I was able to set them up easily, and they do indeed detect water on the floor. I plan on using at least one of them to detect when the water level in my pool drops below a certain level. This is a different use case than most will have for these, but I have confidence it will work well.
