I’ve had my fair share of experiences with robot vacuum cleaners, but this robovac has genuinely impressed me with its performance. Right from the start, I could tell that this wasn’t just another robotic vacuum – it was designed with a lot of thought and precision, and I could see the difference in my daily cleaning routine.The first thing that caught my attention was the suction power. With a powerful motor, this vacuum easily tackled all kinds of dirt, dust, and even larger debris. I have both carpets and hardwood floors at home, and switching between the two was seamless for this robovac. Unlike my previous vacuum, which often struggled with carpets, this one has no problem lifting dirt deep from the fibers. The suction remains strong and consistent, which I can attribute to the straight-through vacuum dust design that minimizes suction loss.Now, one of the biggest issues I faced with my old vacuums was dealing with hair tangles, especially since I have a pet that sheds a lot. The ZeroTangle technology on the C12 has been very helpful. The anti-tangling roller brush is impressive – the bristles are designed to rotate at an angle to prevent hair from wrapping around them. I’ve noticed a significant reduction in maintenance time, and the vacuum doesn’t get stuck like my old one did. It’s been so refreshing to not have to pull out scissors every week to cut out the tangled hair!Another feature that stands out is the TrueMapping technology. I was amazed at how quickly the C12 mapped out my home – within just 12 minutes, it had created an accurate map of all the rooms. The precision is astonishing, down to within a few cm, and the comprehensive scanning ensures that no area is left untouched. What’s great is that it follows a bow-shaped cleaning path, so I feel confident that every corner and edge is getting the attention it deserves. The navigation is smooth, and it hardly ever bumps into obstacles.This robovac is also equipped with Multi-Sensor Fusion, which is another game-changer. It easily crosses small thresholds between rooms and never has any trouble with obstacles. I live in a multi-level home, and the anti-drop sensors work perfectly – it has never come close to falling off the stairs. Plus, the intelligent carpet recognition is fantastic! It adjusts automatically to clean my carpets thoroughly without missing any spots. The powerful battery gives me around 4-5 hrs of cleaning time on a single charge, which is more than enough to cover my entire house without interruption.The app is easy to use and gives me a lot of control. I can customize my cleaning schedule, select different suction levels, and even edit the map to create no-go zones or specific areas to focus on. The level of customization is unmatched. I love how I can adjust the water volume for mopping or set it to do a deep clean when I need it.Overall, I am beyond satisfied with the C12. It handles pet hair like a pro, navigates my home with precision, and is powerful enough to keep my floors spotless. It’s rare to find a vacuum that requires so little maintenance and works so efficiently. Good option for a cheaper vacuum
I recently bought this robot vacuum, and overall, it has been a solid addition at a lower price than my other Roborock S7. It handles cleaning pretty well and picks up dirt, dust, and pet hair pretty well on carpet. It navigates around furniture and obstacles relatively well, and the cleaning performance is good enough based on my expectations.The app is basically a must have with robot vacuums now. It’s user-friendly and makes it easy to schedule cleanings and monitor its progress. The app is basic but and I haven’t experienced any glitches or connectivity problems.The only downside I’ve noticed is that it sometimes struggles to dock on carpeted areas. I think this is because carpet tends to tuck at the edges so the charging prongs don’t line up perfectly when it’s at an angle. The quick start instructions do note this so it wasn’t entirely a surprise. It takes a few tries to align itself properly, which can be a bit frustrating. However, it works fine on hard floors, and once it docks, charging goes without a hitch.Despite the minor docking issue on carpets, I’m really happy with this robot vacuum. It’s a great value for the price, and with 3 dogs it definitely keeps the floors clean in between deep vacuuming.
