CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Mooresville-based home improvement company Lowe’s has announced layoffs as the company said it’s “continually evaluating how to improve its operations.”
The company said it has made some staffing changes that affect the jobs of a limited number of corporate associates in non-customer facing roles.
A Lowe’s spokesperson said impacted associates have the opportunity to apply for other opportunities at Lowe’s and have been offered severance and job placement services.
The spokesperson said the company will continue to ensure they have the people resources to successfully support their strategic business initiatives.
The company did not share the number of employees impacted by the layoffs.
