Audiobook five of the best-selling Eden’s Gate series!

After the turmoil in the Arena, Gunnar retreats from Highcastle and attempts to maintain a low profile while the heat regarding Reborns subsides.

Avoiding the human cities, he sets out to unexplored lands with guild mates and a potential new recruit. But when his Great Beast goes missing, a simple quest turns into a troubling chain of events that spawns several unanswered questions.

Why is Sora unresponsive? And why are dragons threatening the inhabitants of Eden’s Gate?

The king’s health may be postponing Dryden’s plans, but Gunnar’s saboteurs might have disturbed something that could be even more devastating than a Bloodletter invasion.

Can Gunnar mend the thin thread that’s holding the world from falling into chaos, and after more than a month in Eden’s Gate, will he finally cave to the temptations of an elf?

    Magical (some spoilers)
I began reading LTE RPG books maybe a year ago or so. I’ve always loved the world of fantasy/sci-fi etc. this series is one of the best series you can read. The whole concept behind it both scary and exciting. Whenever I read any of these books I always think if this was real would I have entered Edens Gate even if I knew I couldn’t return to Earth. And the answer is hell yea! I love the fact that Gunnar is slowly accepting his role as a mage. I’ve always played mages in any RPG I ever played. Staves and magic were my go too. The occasional sword for safety against tough MOBs or bosses lol. But this story is growing more and more each time. And as Gunnar grows the more excited I get to see what he will learn next. Also who wouldn’t want to try and find a great beast. I love Sora so I would love to see and hear from her more. When Gunnar was in Barbosia I 100% agreed with most his reactions i would be freaking out. Wouldn’t mind seeing their bond grow a little. It always seems like Gunnar is very attached to Sora but never shows Sora how much he cares. Maybe it’s just his typical guy attitude kind of like how he missed all the signs on what upset Keysia lol. Guys haha. Exciting to see what comes of that! Both the eleven women are true bada** but Keysia is so down to earth and powerful I love whenever she fights. She’s my favorite Unity guildmate. But if you want action, suspense, magic this is the series. I mean I hope everyone knows that being this far into the series but can’t wait for the next few books! I read these so fast that I might go back and re read them all till the next one comes out!

Amazing Read and am looking forward to the next! 🙂
Ed Brody does an amazing job creating a world that is very interesting to read about, and keeps you wanting to learn more. I always get sad when I get to the end of the book! The amazing part of this is all the “history” in the world that builds on itself and allows for a great story building element, but at the same time you know that the world isn’t even that old and just adds to the wonder of the mind of the creator. I’ve been a huge fan of this series since the very first book, and each book gets better and better each time; its really great to see Ed continue creating work this amazing at the pace he does so at.I am looking forward to the next book (hopefully many books!) in the series and hope there are more secret badass characters like Eanos who will appear! :-DGreat job on another great book, and am excited to see what comes in the future!

    Found a new favorite author
Simply amazing has me hooked the characters the settings everything. When i read i love the freedom to envison the characters and world better than any movie or game. And brody does a amazing job telling gunnars storie and making him seem genuine like me or anyone else in his shoes will be. I love all the characters the romance the twists and turns. Im hoping one day this sort of vr game will be available and this book will become a reality i know its far fetched but nothing is impossible 😉 i wouldnt think twice about diving into the world he created. This is a must read for gamers sci fi enthusiasts and anyone looking for a great read check it out you wont be disapointed only thing im upset about is that it will end eventually 🙁 but would love to see the storie from rachels pov. Something for brody to think about 🙂

Love the World of Eden’s Gate
I felt that the 5th book in the series was better than the 4th one. I’m still not a fan of the main character but I love this world. A new character was interesting. He was a pro-gamer back on Earth and you saw that a bit in his tactics. He just acted differently than the other characters had. I understand that the MC will make mistakes but he constantly fluctuates between treating it as a game and treating it as a real world with consequences. So it gets frustrating. Majority of the Reborn act like gamers, so it would be refreshing to see a Reborn who does not have that type of mentality. As much as I want the next Eden’s Gate book, I think that the author should make an anthology that explores the other characters so we can get a different perspective as the MC dominates things. Like after they form a Guild, there isn’t a lot of opposition to the MC with his guildmates just stating, “I trust you.” It would be nice if they had more of a voice. Despite that I devoured this book and cannot wait for more.

    Great story and amazing characters
I have stumbled upon litrpg by complete accident. It is quickly becoming one of my favorite genre . This is the 2nd series that i have started and ive devoured this one just as quickly as the other one . I am an avid rpg gamer and like most ppl who play rpg type games i played d&d as a young kid . So reading a story that is similar to playing a round of d&d or a rpg on xbox is right up my alley. Ive enjoyed gettingbto knownthe world and the characters and the books are weel written and have good flow throught . The fight s are fluidly told and vivid in detail . If you have ever played an rpg or d&d then ypu would do yourself a favor by readingbthis series

    We Whant More!
I read this seriers twice and I really like Gunner character development, his mistakes make the character more real. I like his reasoning as it shows how he thinks. I can’t say I wouldn’t like for Gunner and Adalee to hook up but I also can see potential conflicts rise if that were to happen. I also would like for Gunner and Rachelle to meet, not for romance but I think the reunion will be interesting to read about. Also, I whant to find what Crylight has instore for Eden’s Gate (if anyting) & Sung’s character inparticulerly. And last the most probable slowdown between Gunner (or at least Unity) & Dryden.

Brody remains one of the stronger litrpg writers out there. His stories are compelling, fun, and they have a lot of great twists and surprises. Unlike some litrpg writers, he is able to join great storytelling with strong and quality prose. This guy knows how to write a sentence. That matters more than you may think, as this means you rarely get distracted from the great story by some awkward phrasing or punctuation snafu. That’s the summary above. To add a little detail, I would say that in this tale our main character Gunner Long is enjoyably dodging ‘the heat’ and trying to lay low (and yet still somehow winding up in the middle of things!). The world expands a bit further, we get new insights into familiar characters, and we meet some new faces. I feel like this story made some serious choices for Gunner’s future, and we’ll see some big changes in Gunner from here on in in terms of the character he’s playing (living?).If you’re looking for a good litrpg and this is the first you’re hearing about Edward Brody, I would say not to start here. But do start! Go treat yourself to the beginning of the series and read your way back to here. If you’re familiar with Brody and a fan, then he’s worked hard to bring you a great new addition to the Eden’s Gate series. Grab a copy now and log in to Eden’s Gate!

I felt that after thrast book, there wasn’t a lot of progression in this series to stay faithful to its release schedule. While I think that this is still valid, the entertainment value of the story is back and the author has really done a great job of pushing it forward where it has indeed gone forward. Will keep an eye out for the next one.
