A powerful dungeon. A sheep-herder turned Noble. Their path to ascendance through cultivation.

The Divine Dungeon complete series plus the Master’s short story, 560,000 words of epic adventure!

Conquering dungeons and using them to grow has long been the most efficient way to become a powerful adventurer. The only thing keeping the process from being easy is the Beasts that inhabit these places. Questions plague those entering this particular place of power: Where do the ‘rewards’ of weapons, armor, and heavy gold coins come from? Why is a fluffy bunny charging at me? For abyss-sake, why are there so many monsters?

Cal has all of the answers to these age-old questions for a very simple reason. He is a Dungeon Core, a soul forced against his will into a magical stone. With the help of an energetic friend, Cal grows a dungeon around himself to bring in new sources of power.

When a threat he doesn’t fully comprehend bares its many teeth, Cal is determined to survive the attempt on his life. Unfortunately for adventurers, the only way for him to achieve his goal is to eat anyone that enters his depths.

    A very interesting story
I had a lot of fun reading this series. It was a little hard to read at first because it seemed like there was two story lines but that gets fixed later. All round a good read and I had lots of fun.

If you liked Pierce Anthony… and the game Dungeon Keeper, you might like this.
For the price, this collected series is a great buy. Even if you’re not a full on LitRPG fan, the writing is good enough that the story could pull you in regardless. Overall, I enjoyed the series, though I did let out a small groan on reaching the end. For the end is only a new beginning! So it goes, with extended universe type sets.Fear not, though. The author picks up where this story begins with another one series (though from another characters perspective) later on.Divine dungeon is about a tiny crystal that realizes it’s a dungeon. This dungeon loves two things. Knowledge, puns, and a tiny Fairy. This dungeon loves THREE things. Knowledge, puns, and a tiny fairy… and killing people who come to explore his depths. This dungeon loves FOUR things.(No one expect the Spanish inquisition. Or spike pit traps.)This was a fun read, and the interplay between the characters and the exposition of the world is well balanced. As a first series, I can say it was well done. Though I do like his second series even more. If you want to go straight to a more traditional main-hero archetype, go read that series instead. The main character in this series is quasi-villainous, though it/he does have redeeming character traits.

    Pretty decent dungeon core book
It was good. Not quite superb but good enough to read it all the way through. First 2/3 was better than the last third where the action and characters got a bit too powerful to the point they were determinantal to the storyline in my opinion. A few loose ends where it is unclear by the end what happened to some characters (as there were quite many of them) but its not too bad as in the setting it is logical to assume they ended up in the same place as everyone else and it was just not spelled out explicitly.

    Must read for LitRPG fans
My first LitRPG series and I fell in love. Hard. When you start it follows the POV from a young dungeon core that was spawned into the world through questionable means. This alone caught my attention. A story told from the POV of an inanimate object?…..oooookay you got me let’s see. Introduce your sassy wisp shortly after and you have a devious duo who just want to bud and grow the ultimate dungeon. Alright! I’m hooked let’s go! Of course that alone couldn’t make the amazing story that came to pass. Enter some other characters that can influence and flesh this story out. Enter Dale eventual owner of the mountain our young dungeon core and wisp are currently crafting into the ultimate dungeon experience. Follow Dale and his crew that eventually forms and the young dungeon core Cal. The story has a good progression. I couldn’t put it down much at all I enjoyed the series so much and honestly who could’ve seen events leading up the way they did at the end. You fall in love with the main characters even Cal though he can be a jerk most of the time. But I adore this series and even the artorian archives were a great addition.

A surprisingly fun and engrossing book
I started this series when I got a good deal on the audiobook. After I finished the first two audiobooks, I transitioned to reading the ebook. What a great series. I am not a gamelit/litrpg fan per se, but I enjoyed this series. Cal was a wonderfully nerdy MC, and Dale was a great foil for him. I loved how the author kept both Cal and Dale from becoming over-powered, by showing them greater and greater challenges to overcome.I can’t wait to see what the future holds for my favorite dungeon.

The best of fantasy and magic!
The story, the characters, the world building, the JOKES!!! “it’s all about the puns”Honestly I can’t decide what was the best part of the whole book-set… but it’s somewhere between the “Dale retells the way he meets Chandra to his party members” or “the northern man’s common declaration of marriage”Both of those scenes had me laughing like a maniac … Special thx to the Dakota jokes spread out throughout the books.Oh and books 3 and 5 … Their ending… Mind blowing!!

    Fresh, Fantastic, Intelligent, and Magical
Krout is a wizard at building magical systems and making you feel like a part of them. I just finished this series and wow what an amazing ride. My own internal world has gained and adopted many of the ideas presented in this book. There are so many descriptions of working with magic that I was able to sync up with my own imagination and make them real. I can’t recommend this series highly enough, especially if you are familiar with and enjoy other works from Krout including the Completionist Chronicles. This is the fantasy sweet spot right here!

I thoroughly enjoyed my time with these books and would easily recommend this collection. There was consistent progression and challenges overcome in new and exciting ways.I liked the world and was pleasantly surprised that there is a follow-up series as well. Let’s see how that goes.

I really enjoyed reading these books. You can see him progressing as an author as you read. Right from the start it moves well, has lots of gamer fun, and silly puns.
